    Beware Hotel California would be better

    0.0 Upon my arrival, I was assigned to the king suite, but immediately noticed a strong odor reminiscent of wet dog. The windows were sealed shut, and the motorized shades were inoperable. After requesting a room change, I was moved to the fourth floor 417 where the unpleasant smell persisted and the shades remained stuck. Maintenance was called, and while they managed to roll the shades up, they informed me that management was aware of the ongoing issues. Unfortunately, my stay quickly turned into a nightmare. After a long evening of working on my computer in the unsatisfactory room, I went to bed around 11:30 PM, only to discover that the sheets had not been changed from the previous occupant, which was clearly evident as the sheets were bloody . Disgusted, I contacted the front desk, but the staff member could only offer me new sheets to change myself, which I refused, as I expected clean linens for my payment. The following morning, I encountered yet another issue when I found human pubic hair in the shower, further compounding my dissatisfaction with the hotel. The hotel offer 10 k points and 50 dollars off that’s it. There is plenty of other places to stay

    I actually enjoyed my stay. The breakfast staff always had a good story. The beautiful ladies and the front desk were pleasant and very kind. The engineers and maintenance crew were all very kind. Especially the STeelers fan, his car was hilarious. My only complaint was the awful smell of kitty litter as people left trash in the hallways. The hotel shampooed the floor weekly, so the floor was wet often and the dryer fans were alway running. After 6 months of staying in the same room, this was one of the better hotels I have resided in over the past couple of years. I am one of those people who do place my trash or towels in the hallway, I hate the smell in the hall or the leaky garbage stains. However, I am not the GM of this hotel.Bed was decent as far as comfortFree ParkingHousekeeping was ok as well. Not always the greatest but ok.The hotel was clean for the most part about 90% of the time. There is always something thats not up to snuff. But I would stay again in that same hotel.

    Was in town for a party and this hotel was recommended by the host. It was just what I needed. Easy access to the highway and right next to the mall. Complimentary breakfast with your stay. If I ever visit Memphis again i definitely will stay here!

    Our room was so bad we didn't not even stay the night. Checked in and went straight to a hot/smelly room. Wall controller was not working so we manually set the AC unit. It came on so we left for dinner in the hopes that it would be cooler when we returned. Returned from dinner and room was cooling better. We were planning to stay until we turned down the bed to find hair and stains on the sheets. At that point, we left. Front desk manager was apologetic and offered us another room but we declined.We had stayed at two other Home2Suites locations on our trip (Mt. Juliet, TN and Leesburg VA and they were lovely and recommend 10/10.Unfortunately, this Memphis location was a 0/10. We have never left a hotel before this time.

    Lady that was working the desk midday was very rude. she kept telling us our room would not be ready till 3 pm. When I ask for water she said she didn't have any. when I told her I was a member all of a sudden she had water and a room ready. We waited almost 4 hours from the first time I checked on room. Last hour and a half we sat in the lobby waiting and checking about 20 minutes to see if room was ready. She kept saying the room was being cleaned. All the while others where coming in and getting a room. Guess I should have told her I was a member much much earlier. Very disappointing that employees are aloud to treat customers in such a rude manner.
