    "LImited service" hotel at an unlmited price

    I could have put up with this for $150/night and thought it was great. But for more than double that, it s__ked.20 minutes for the shuttle and 20 more minutes to get a plate of hummus. (It was quite good -- hence 2 stars for the experience.) The room was incredibly poorly designed. First, see the picture. It doesn't show up well on a photo but there is a bright light as you enter the room (so you can find the light switch but it reflects off the mirror in the hallway right into your eyes when you are trying to sleep.     No transfer service as advertised

    I specifically booked this hotel because of the advertised airport transfer service and the available stay-and-cruise rate, which included a transfer to the port after my stay and was convenient for my trip. After following the instructions I was given in advance, I called the hotel upon arrival at the airport. 40 minutes later, the airport van drove past us without stopping. Calling the hotel another 6 times was useless; they picked up the phone and put it on hold automatically without explanation. I can only imagine that they have targets for picking up the phone, but not for answering them correctly. I had to eventually fork out for a taxi. The hotel staff could not care less when we arrived and told them what happened, nor could the hotel manager I emailed to complain after my stay. The hotel was beautiful and extremely clean. However, if I had known the issues with the transfers, I would have chosen a hotel in a different location.     Salvador is the best bar tender ever. I only stay here.

    I love this hotel. Salvador at the bar is amazing. He remembers my name ever time and has the best customer service. I only stay here in Doral.     Terrible experience. Overcharged my credit card, no refund for my whole trip.

    This place overcharged my credit card over $800. We checked in on Thursday, February 19th in the evening. The woman working (Asian, did not have a name tag) charged my card the wrong amount without telling me she was charging my card. Said she couldn’t reverse the charges and I would have to speak to the manager the next morning. She blamed the calculator for the wrong amount. The manager did what she could but that overcharge of over $800 is still not back on my card and this has completely ruined my trip to Miami. I called my bank and they confirmed that the hotel has not issued a refund for the over $800 they overcharged my card. Not sure if this is a scam they have going on but I would like my money back as soon as possible!Also, the bedsheets had not been changed from the previous guest as there were make up stains on the sheets and pillow cases. The remote to the tv didn’t work and we couldn’t get any help for either of these issues.Nothing was offered to us for this huge inconvenience. We had to ask if they could at least comp us breakfast. The manager agreed but then the hotel tried to charge us for it when we checked out!I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Terrible experience! While we understand your bank advised they could not yet see the released funds, this delay is typically related to processing times outside of our direct control.That said, we take full responsibility for the initial mistake and for the lack of clear communication at check-in. We also sincerely apologize for the housekeeping concerns, the non-functioning TV remote, and the delay in assistance. These issues should have been addressed immediately, and we regret that they were not.Your feedback has been shared with our management and staff so we can address these shortcomings and ensure this does not happen again.     The hotel itself is wonderful. The only bad thing was that the shuttle took an hour to pick us up from airport and that the breakfast isn't free for titanium members. You have to pay 20.00 for breakfast, no other choices.
