    The service was excellent! The staff was very friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The check-in experience was smooth and very welcoming.     Very nice, clean hotel. Front desk staff has been super friendly and helpful. Drew and Nathan (and another female) spent a lot of time with me recommending restaurants and giving travel tips. Not a lot of activity in the neighborhood, but the pool and beach access is great. And we drove up and down Collins on free MB trolley with stops right outside. Would stay here next time!     Good location and good service. Not a typical Marriott. Rooms have a spartan feel. Rooftop pool area was nice. Only problem was the shower. It had been painted improperly. I suspect someone used latex paint on the bottom of the shower! The paint was peeling and you would get it stuck to your feet.
