    Miami A loft was amazing. We were upset about our weather delay which caused us to have to get a night on Mothers Day. Andre went out of his way to make us feel special. Highest customer service experience we’ve had. Turned our misfortunes into an enjoyable stay. Thank you so much Andre and A loft!!!

    MOST RUDE MARRIOTT EMPLOYEE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED - "ANDRE" AT ALOFT MIMAI AIRPORT!

    I have been staying at Aloft Miami Airport Hotel several times per year since 2022. I have complimented the efficient, friendly and professional service of the reception staff. UNFORTUNATELY, TONIGHT I WAS CHEKED BY THE MOST RUDE MARRIOTT EMPLOYEE I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF MEETING. He says his name is "Andre" and he also says he is a manager at Aloft Miami Airport for the past 2 months. I want to ensure I am not pointing to the wrong person (because no other staff member at ALOFT MIAMI AIRPORT HOTEL has ever been disrespectful), so in the event he gave me a wrong name, he is African American and had his hair in cornrows. He also told me he has been working with Marriott for the past 15 years, previously at Aloft Aventura before this job. At check in there was no usual "thank you for being a titanium member" but that's ok. I indicated that I had packages, he said you will be charged $10 for each package after the first 5. I said ok, he then told me I have a lot of packages, and I asked him if he could bring them out. I proceeded to drop off my bags in the room, then came back to the front desk for my packages. "Andre" (if that is his name) pointed to a cart with many packages and told me those are mine, I looked through them and 6 or 7 of them belonged to 2 other persons. I gave those back to him; our of the pile of packages he brought out, only 3 of them were mine. I asked him if those were all my packages he said yes, I told him I expected 2 more small packages and he insisted I had nothing else. I then checked the packages against my delivery notifications and saw that 2 were delivered that day, but were not given to me. I returned to the reception desk and informed "Andre", he insisted that nothing else was delivered, cutting me off when I was trying to speak and giving me a lot of attitude. I then showed him a photo taken by the amazon delivery person; and it was only then that he called an associate to ask if the 2 packages were received, he then went to the back, came out with the 2 packages, handed them to me and turned to attend to another guest. I was walking away, but I turned back to tell him that I have never received such terrible service at Aloft Miami Airport (and I am sure I have stayed here more than 25 times). I kept my voice calm and even-toned, as I truly expected he would just apologize and say he was having a tough night or something; but instead "Andre" would not let me finish a sentence, he cut me off, spoke over me and flat out told me to "GO TO MY ROOM". I was shocked. I responded to say I am a guest and deserve respect, he proceeded to speak over me to say I was invading his space, even though I was standing in front of the reception desk. I stay at Marriott properties all over the world (USA, Caribbean, Europe, Asia), in the last 4 months I have spent 32 nights at different Marriott properties and have serval other stays planned. I will not be back to this property as I will not subject myself to "Andre" again. I am just happy my family was not with me this time, so my kids did not have witness this verbal abused by "Andre". He told me I have an attitude and I can email his GM but he does not have to speak to me. I don't think these words can accurately express the level of rudeness and disrespect Andre demonstrated in dealing with me. Please send him back to whichever other hotel he was at for the past 15 years, otherwise I will not be the only guess never returning the ALOFT MIAMI AIRPORT. I make this complaint sincerely and have tried to be as accurate as possible with this review. PLEASE MARRIOTT MANAGEMENT, TAKE ACTION TO PROTECT THE BRAND'S REPUTATION AND IMPORTANTLY TO PROTECT THE WELLBEING OF YOUR LOYAL GUESTS.Note in March 2025, I emailed the manager of ALOFT MIAMI AIRPORT to state: " You have an awesome team and I enjoy staying at the Aloft Miami Airport" AND in February 2026 I sent an message in response to a message from Maibelys in which I wrote: "Everything is great thanks. And the young lady at reception is the absolute best!" This is how I felt about ALOFT MIAMI AIRPORT BEFORE TONIGHT. So unfortunate that "Andre" is allowed to come and wipe out the excellent service culture I have witnessed at this hotel over the past 4 years. I understand your frustration regarding both the handling of your packages and the manner in which the interaction was managed. Regardless of the circumstances, all guests should be treated with professionalism, patience, and respect at all times.I will be addressing this matter internally with the associate involved and reviewing the situation thoroughly with my leadership team. We never want one interaction to overshadow the years of positive experiences you have had with our property.Again, I sincerely apologize for the frustration and disappointment caused during your arrival experience.     Great customer service goes a long way

    My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Aloft Miami Airport. The rooms were nice, clean, and very comfortable, but what truly stood out to me was the amazing customer service from the staff. Andre and Charles really took care of us and made our experience go from great to exceptional. Their friendliness and attention to detail made us feel welcomed throughout our stay. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to others!

    Great hotel. Close to the airport. Danielle at the reception desk was amazing. So friendly and helpful. They need to promote this young woman. Such a great representative for their brand.
