    The room was old, worn and not clean. It doesn't get cold in Miami often, but there was no heat in the room. The lobby smelled of mold, the room, a very bad cleaner smell. The bed was comfortable, but small. The room coffee machine didn’t work. Coffee was $2.50 a cup in the lobby and was horrible. There is trash on the ground all around. There is NOTHING to eat or drink within easy walking distance. To get to the beach, you walk thru a dark and shady "park". Find somewhere better to stay...trust me.

    The room was nice & comfortable. I appreciated the free parking. You're 2 blocks ftom the beach. I was on the 2nd floor so I didn't find it too noisy. I would stay there again.

    LocationThe hotel is located in Surfside on Harding Avenue, just a 5-minute walk to the beach and park. It’s in a safe and pleasant area, near the site of the tragic building collapse a few years ago. South Beach (e.g. Lincoln Road) is about a 20-25 minute drive south, and there’s a Publix and a few bars about 5–10 blocks north.However, it sits right by a busy main road. The rooms are not soundproof, so if you’re a light sleeper, the traffic noise—especially from loud motorcycles or cars—can be disruptive.RoomSpacious and clean with a large, comfortable bed. There’s a small kitchen area with a fridge, sink, and some basic cookware, but it’s limited in terms of utensils and cooking options. The bathroom includes basic amenities, and there’s an open closet area with a safe. A great bonus is the large smart TV.Overall, basic but comfortable—just be prepared for some noise from the road.FacilitiesOne of the best perks is a hotel that offers free parking—a rare find in Miami Beach. Each room seems to have a spot, and that alone adds great value. There’s also a nice central pool area with loungers and tables, the pool was very clean. I noticed mats and umbrellas guests can grab and use for the beach. Wi-Fi was strong, and there are vending machines, a water dispenser, and free coffee in the lobby.StaffCheck-in staff were friendly but speak limited English, and there was a small hiccup with the Wi-Fi password. Still, it was manageable.OverallAt around $100 per night with no resort or destination fee, this place is an excellent value. Many nearby hotels charge those fees but offer less no free parking or a pool. For that reason alone, I’m giving it 5 stars. Just a heads-up: if you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs or a sleep aid to block the traffic noise.

    This place was amazing. Rooms were very clean. The pool was clean and accommodating with their hours. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect 10 minute walk to the beach, with also free parking. Would definitely stay again!

    the good: easy check-in, 24 hour reception desk, nice pool, clean, close to the beach, beautiful pool area and free parking which is very rare in Fort Lauderdale! Wonderful service!!wish list: food or coffee, or breakfast in walking distance. You have to drive or get the trolley to everything.We stayed in a kitchenette king room and it was very close to the road. Lots of road noise. No kettle and only two of everything, carpet in our room. No dishcloths or pot cloths.
