  surprisingly good!!

  I've had bad experiences at Best Westerns in the past and have refused to use them. The price was too good to pass up so I thought I'd give this one a try. I'm very glad I did!!! Not only was the price good, the service and room were very good as well. We had a little problem coordinating the shuttle but it turned out well and the driver was very personable and good. The room was excellent! Very spacious and the shower was incredibly awesome!! The bed wasn't all that great but was okay. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the shuttle back to the airport was excellent as well. All in all, a very good option!!

  I booked the Best Western Plus Miami Airport North Hotel & Suites to stay one night after a late arrival in Miami. The reviews I see on TripAdvisor and google promised a great stay. Well, that’s not what happened.After checking in, I walked to the elevator and noticed how dirty the walkway was. Even the inside of the elevator hasn’t been cleaned for a while. The carpeted hallways are filthy. The room was beat up, dated, not really clean just sort of.I asked to change the room but the other room was even worst so I asked if I can cancel. I was told that I had to cancel through Expedia. Well, I called them and they told me nope since this was a non refundable booking. I was about to leave for good but I also was very tired from a long trip. So I decided to put up with this and stay the night.It appeared that the surfaces had been wiped off but not really cleaned. The shower curtain had a bloody stain on it. The bathtub had seen better days. How much does it cost zu replace a shower curtain or even wash it? Body wash and shampoo was empty.I kept my luggage up on the desk to make sure nothing can crawl in - just in case. Not that I have seen something. Would be impossible with the amount of pesticides in the air which I had to endure all night. At least the bedding seemed to be clean. What a relief…The breakfast was okay. Nothing special though.I am very disappointed with Best Western who should check on their hotel partners and this particular one certainly does not deserve the “Plus” branding.The hotel manager and hotel owners should be ashamed of themselves.

  Nelson, the driver who picked us up at the airport was very helpful. He loaded our luggages on the rolling cart for us when we got to the hotel. We like the shuttle service provided by Best Western Plus. The bathroom need update. We checked in room 215. We saw stain in the tub when we tried to take a shower. We did complain and they switched us to room 211. There was black grouts on the wall and along the tub of room 211. They need to clean the tub better. There were not a lot if dining options and not much to do around this hotel within walking distance.

  Good place for pre-cruise stay

  Stayed for 1 night prior to cruise. Rooms were dated, but clean. Staff were all friendly and having breakfast there was a plus. Shuttle to cruise port (for a fee) was great to be dropped right at our terminal with no hassle.

  Nice hotel but disappointed about breakfast

  Regrettably we stayed at this hotel because of a forced lay over caused by an airline. We were hoping NOT to spend one dime in this country but life happens.The hotel itself is nice and is about a ten minute shuttle ride from the airport. The hotel offers a free airport shuttle but if your not familiar with the Miami airport your probably better to take a taxi because you’d never find the shuttle pick up location. The airport is huge. The taxi should cost you about $20 .as quoted by the hotel. Ours cost us $30 only because we think he took the scenic route to the hotel because we were about 20 minutes vs the 10 minute shuttle ride the next morning. There are few restaurants within walking distance of this hotel for your convenience. The hotel offers your typical amenities, gym, conference rooms , pool etc. Again the room is your typical room equipped with : in room safe , tv, wifi, fridge, shower, iron, toiletries, and is nothing special . We chose this hotel because they provided a free shuttle and because they offered a free breakfast. This is where my issues with this place lies. If you’re going to offer a breakfast then start it earlier . Breakfast starts at 6:30 which is useless for guests who have early departure times and cant enjoy this benefit. Start you your breakfast at 5-5:30 am !In the end I’m sitting on the fence on whether or not I’d stay at this location again because the breakfast issue has left a bad taste in my mouth.
