  A very original, atmospheric, independent hotel.

  The hotel is truly superb. It is located almost directly on the beachfront—quiet, authentic, and featuring beautifully designed rooms in a loft-industrial style. The vintage staircase and elevator add a unique charm.I was especially impressed by the lobby, which combines the restaurant, reception desk, a small bar, and display cabinets filled with fascinating and elegant curiosities. The entire atmosphere feels like a refined boutique hotel rather than a standard chain property.After my flight, I was feeling unwell and quite chilled. When I approached the reception desk, I was fortunate to be assisted by Mr. William Morales. He was exceptionally polite, attentive, and immediately arranged for me to be moved to a warmer room. The situation was resolved instantly, and he personally escorted me there. I was truly impressed by his professionalism and kindness.The rooms are impeccably clean, and the staff is consistently courteous. I also very much enjoyed the restaurant. Another great advantage is that the hotel provides sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach.However, on my second day, umbrellas were unexpectedly not available to guests. While loungers were offered, umbrellas were described as a “luxury.” Unfortunately, this resulted in severe sunburn, and I had to stop enjoying the beach for the remainder of my stay. This was disappointing, especially since neighboring beach areas had umbrellas open at the same time.Despite this issue, the comfort of the room, the quality of the bedding, and the overall friendliness of the staff helped to balance the experience.I truly enjoyed my stay overall.   Great hotel and location but awful elevator

  Hotel looked cute and was spotlessly clean.Fantastic location and great value for money.The only problem is the lift (elevator). It’s unreliable and often doesn’t stop at your floor or the door won’t open. Not ideal when checking out and it fails again.The staff don’t care about it.That aside, everything else was superb.   Lovely hotel in prime spot. Great Art Deco styling and hugest bed i have ever slept in!   Location is the highlight

  This hotel tries hard. However they are under staffed. The staff is friendly and nice but overwhelmed. The lobby/ restaurant is very small but has some charm. However, the Luggage they were holding spilled over into it. The elevator I used once as it’s a bit rickety and scary. Our room was large. Air conditioning quiet but you could hear tons of noise elsewhere- hallway, next door, overhead constantly . No sleep was had. The hotel could use some TLC. This is a wonderful location across from the beach with direct beach access in the heart of the art deco district .   We asked for wine glasses to be in our room before we got there and they said SURE! in their messages to us, but when we checked in they said sorry, we can’t do that because of the restaurant. Huh? Internet is so slow it’s unbearable at times. There is a real problem with their heating and air-conditioning in this hotel. You’re either too hot or too cold and there’s no way to figure out how to work the in room systems. A staff employee finally brought up a n electric heater. There is a phone in our room that was useless. didn’t work at all. So anytime we needed the staff we would have to go down to the loony and ask for things. There were no amenities in the room but conditioner, shampoo and body lotion and flimsy plastic cups. No coffee no Kleenex no suitcase stands. 4 hangers in the closet for 2 people. Had to go down to the lobby and get those too. A humongous trash can in the bathroom that takes up the space. Looks like something you would find in a kitchen. There was hardly any hot water for showers, semi warm. The downstairs lobby is useless because it’s being ran by a restaurant which has nothing to do with the hotel. Free bottle of wine? Okay nice. Coffee in the lobby, but No privacy from the restaurant patrons in the morning. Walls are super thin, you can hear adjoining guests talking, moving about, very noisy. There are NO ocean views as it’s blocked by the beach ‘s municipality tents and barricades,etc, which is not the hotel’s fault but an FYI. It is Located on the strip so that’s a plus And it’s an Art Deco historical building. It took an effort to get the staff to accommodate anything we needed. No information on check in about how to work HVAC or information/directions on the control panel in the room not even sure if it worked at all. . $600 a night? I don’t think so!
