    I had a reservation on September 7, 2025 and arrived at 4 a.m. to check in. The receptionist told me I had to wait an hour, so I asked to cancel. She assured me three times that it was canceled and no charge would be made.That was a lie. Two days later, I discovered the full amount charged to my credit card even though I never stayed. This is dishonest, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.Do not trust anything they say unless you get it in writing. This place is a scam. One star only because zero is not possible.     Had issues. Issue fixed. Lovely front desk. Great breakfast. Quiet room. Good channels. Comfy bed. Actually can just walk around the entire place since it's raining outside. The bar is a lovely hangout. Valet during the day is very professional. Issue i had, which wasn't small, was corrected to my satisfaction. Thanks to management and front desk supervisor.

    I am a Marriott Lifetime Platinum Elite and have stayed here twice. This hotel is a disaster. The Valet actually lost my car. Other team members had to intervene. The room feel like you are in a hospital. Would not stay here again. I am flabbergasted that Corporate Marriott has not intervene with this operator.     Convenient location for South Miami

    It was what I would expect from a a Courtyard. The rooms were normal size for a Courtyard, pool was small, but the hotel was convenient for a trip to South Miami. The Bistro was $7 for a fruit cup, but that’s fairly normal for Courtyard. Valet parking was pretty quick, but you still need to give them 10 mins.

    My family (3 adults 1 toddler) and I just returned from a stay at the Courtyard Marriott. It was less than impressive for Marriot's standards. There were a few things that really irked me: - Although the Expedia site says valet parking is optional, there is no option for self parking (unless you park on the street). Valet parking is US$26 per day, which feels steep considering it's the only option. - It might be helpful to also note there is a US$5 charge PER package received (the first two packages are no charge). This is not stated on the listing either. - There is no safe in the room, however there is a safe deposit box in the lobby at no extra cost (but don't lose the key because that of course comes with a charge). - US$150 deposit required on check in. On the pros: - There is a little bistro in the lobby that serves great coffee (Starbucks) - The staff were really friendly - The area is very walkable. There are lots of little cafes and restaurants in the area. Publix is right behind the hotel, which is great for picking up bottled water and essentials. - Dadeland Mall is right across the street (walkable). Honestly, if you're comparing other properties in the area, the Hampton Inn is a better option. The price was similar (a little less), no charges for packages, two queen beds (not doubles at Courtyard Marriott), free breakfast / coffee and tea station and free self parking. Plus right across from Target.
