Location

Located just a mile from Miami International airport, around a 15-minute drive to the city centre and the cruise port and just some 20 minutes from trendy South Beach.

Facility

125 non-smoking rooms and 8 suites are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A variety of shops are available, including a souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi are provided as well. The daily newspaper is laid out for guests in the the rooms. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked.

Sport

Going for a swim at the pool complex, which includes indoor and outdoor areas, is a great way to relax. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. Sun loungers are ready and waiting on the terrace. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and horse riding are available. With windsurfing, snorkelling and diving available, the hotel also caters to water sports enthusiasts. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, bowling, callisthenics and aerobics. A wellness area with a sauna is available at the hotel.

Meals

    Stayed one night here before our cruise and found if very convenient and comfortable. Room was very nice, good size.The hotel has a nice bar and restaurant and a lovely pool and gardens.It was ideally for one night stay near the airport.     Ok for overnight prior to boarding cruise ship

    Room was clean and fine for one night stay prior to boarding our cruise. Wouldn't want to stay any longer. The shuttle service from the airport was good and they ordered a great taxi service to take us to the port in the morning.One reason we booked this location was because there was a restaurant on site. However, we wouldn't recommend Champions Sport Bar. The Cuban sandwich was good but the gin and tonic my husband ordered were undrinkable. He sent the first one back which they replaced but the second one was just as bad. Not sure what tonic they were using (it may have not been from a fountain) but it was disgusting. Really expensive for a "bad" drink. Breakfast was ok but also expensive.     I was here for a conference so I suppose I kind of had to stay here. But if I was visiting Miami for pleasure, this would not be my go-to hotel. It was fine. Nothing special. Annoying to have to pay for parking in addition to your room fee. But the room was ok, it was clean but nothing fancy. Just average.     Whilst hotel was convenient to the airport and the shuttle service was great there were a few niggles that could have easily been avoided.1. We arrived in the hot reception and it took over 20 mins to even get to the desk, not the best after travelling for 13 hrs! 2 we wen into the bar / restaurant at 10:50 (closes at 11:00) and as soon as we walked in the staff were shouting at us to advise that they were closed, I pointed out that there was 10 mins left to order a soft drink and advised that we had been in the hotel reception for 20 mins. The staff would not even allow us to speak and kept shouting at us to leave…even though there were people sitting in the bar. I advised reception and they shrugged their shoulders and stated that it was not their issue and they could not assist. Absolutely awful customer experience, asked to speak to Manager and was advised the Manager was not available.The rooms were very clean and pleasant enough, a bit dated but was perfectly okay for the one night.I would recommend that if you need an overnight hotel room that you avoid this hotel if a you have a late check in.     Extremely Disappointing Experience

    Due to flight disruptions at Miami International Airport, my wife was stranded overnight. I searched for a hotel with airport shuttle service and booked Miami Airport Marriott under stressful circumstances.The quoted price was $370, but the final charge came to $450 after taxes and fees — a significant and unexpected increase. While I understand taxes exist, this level of markup during a travel crisis feels exploitative.I clearly explained our urgent situation to the customer service representative and requested immediate check-in. Unfortunately, the reservation was still made with a 3 PM check-in time, which was not properly communicated. Once the confirmation arrived, cancellation was no longer possible.As a result, I paid $450, yet my wife could not check in and remained stuck at the airport.This experience reflects poorly not just on the hotel, but on Miami’s overall approach to travelers during disruptions. I will not be returning to this hotel or recommending it to anyone.
