  Worst Motel Ever!!!!!

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was easily one of the worst stays I’ve ever experienced.My wife booked this as an overnight stay before our cruise. After reading the reviews, I suggested we cancel, but unfortunately, that wasn’t an option without losing our money. We decided to take our chances and regretted it.At first glance, the property didn’t seem too bad. The exterior and lobby were reasonably clean, and the grounds, pool, and basketball courts actually looked well maintained. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended.Check-in was painfully slow, taking nearly 30 minutes. The front desk employee appeared overwhelmed and struggled to complete even basic tasks, which made for a frustrating start.The room initially looked clean but had a strong musty odor. While the bed sheets were thankfully clean and the pillows were comfortable, the carpet was heavily stained. Light poured in around the door frame, which didn’t exactly inspire confidence, even though it did lock.The bathroom had its own issues—no washcloths provided, and the shower was extremely difficult to turn on (requiring way more effort than it should). The toilet only worked if you held the handle down the entire time it flushed. On the plus side, the water did get hot—very hot.Sleeping was nearly impossible. Between constant airplane noise from nearby Miami International Airport and what sounded like mice running through the ceiling all night, it was far from restful.The only real advantage of this place is its proximity to the airport and the Port of Miami. Beyond that, I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

  Booked at Doral Suites, Miami, FL — Jan 8-11, 2026. I'm sharing factual observations for other travelers.Upon check-in, the room conditions were materially different from the listing photos and raised health and safety concerns. Observed issues included:• Oven with visible residual food grime• Bathroom with active mold and staining; bathtub appeared unwashed from prior guest(s)• Carpet with what appeared to be pet feces/vomit stains• Strong odor of mold and smoke throughout• Mattress severely uneven, with deep depressions and one side elevated several inches, making it unsafe and unusable• Deeply soiled couches and chairs• Ripped and stained curtains• Cracked floor tilesNo Room Service. Individuals smoking in common areas who appeared to be staying there long-term.I inspected the room and canceled immediately without staying overnight. These conditions did not meet reasonable lodging standards or match the advertised presentation. Travelers may wish to verify current room conditions before booking.

  I really hate writing bad reviews but the experience of our overnight stay was terrible. The room smelled like my grandmothers root seller. We asked for another room but they couldn’t change us to another room even though they had rooms available. I was disappointed but figured I’d just take a shower and relax before heading out to dinner. The water was cold. I asked the front desk if someone could come fix the issue and was told to adjust the water to hot. I explained I had already tried that and they said nobody was available to fix the issue. I asked if I could at least shower in another room and was told that wasn’t possible. I took a cold shower and tried to make the best of the situation. The room didn’t have hand towels or wash cloths for my cold shower. I asked the front desk and was told non available. The coffee maker in the room only had de cafe coffee ground packets. I went to the front desk and was told they only had de cafe coffee ground packets. I make the mistake of not wearing socks while in the room and noticed the bottom of my feet turned dirty brown. Filthy carpet. They offer breakfast in the morning 6:30 to 9:30. I arrived at 8 and they had a line of 20 people waiting to be seated. It took 30 minutes to get seated and then the breakfast was not worth the price of free. No compassion or customer service at all here. I would recommend staying here.

  Thanksgiving weekend trip. Our stay was alright and comfortable once you can focus on the positive. The breakfast was nice.
