    I had to buy my own plunger

    I am currently here at this hotel. I got a 2 bed suite with sofa bed. The toilet in my room is stopped up. No one has done #2 yet. I went to the front desk to ask for a plunger, Sean said we dont have any. I was confused. He said the plungers are locked in the house keeper room. Sean said he doesnt have access to house keeping room. He offer to change the room to a basic room. I said we all can not fit in a basic room, it is 5 of us. I paid for a suite. All i need is a plunger. A random guy offered to buy a plunger. I told him thanks, but I will go get one myself. Sean, from the front desk seems ok with us walking to get a plunger. No plunger and no access to the house keeper room is un-heard of. Dont care for a refund. Just wanted help when needed. Not being ignored. Do not stay here.     Outdated rooms but free breakfast.

    Outdated room. No cable tv or way to access streaming. Our TV only had antenna. Sheets did not fit bed and are itchy. The room needed a good scrubbing. Dirt caked around baseboards and holes in carpet but sheets appeared clean. Did have free breakfast. However they did not accommodate food allergies even though a sign is out at breakfast stating they did. No lactose free options for those who are intolerant to lactose.     Sheets don't fit the bed

    We stayed at this property twice, at the beginning and end of our vacation. I always peek at the bed corners upon arrival looking for pests, which I did not find. However, the sheets are WAY not deep enough for the thick mattress. The first night I worried that they would slip off in the middle of the night, and we’d have a crappy night’s sleep fighting with sheets. That didn’t happen initially, but when we return it did. Both sides of the king bed were off in the morning, it was not restful. This should not be an issue. I also had to get someone up to the room because the heat would not shut off. I set the heat to 68, and by the time I called the front desk, the thermostat was registering 80. A staff person did arrive, but told me I had to ride it out, that he was confident it would eventually reset. Now, it did reset about 15 minutes later, but again, this should not be happening. Especially when the staffer said it is an occasional issue at the property.The rooms are large and comfortable. There was no hall/elevator/ice machine noise heard from inside the room. There was minor traffic noise, nothing unusual. If not for the sheets, this would be a place I would recommend.     Stayed here for a few days while touring the area. Prices are better than downtown and it’s closer to the airport. Uber to the city runs about $40. Stayed in a suite. Room was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast is what you’d expect from Hampton. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great restaurants a few miles away.

    My stay was great. Everybody was so nice. The staff was top notch and breakfast was okay. Would stay here again next month when I come back to Miami.
