    Do not book unless you’re ok waiting 2hrs for shuttle,are not sensitive to perfume strong scented cleaner smell in rooms

    I booked this hotel, it said it had an airport shuttle. I called the hotel when arrived at pick up and asked for shuttle pick up, they said the shuttle is only every 30 min which is not stated when booking. I waited and waited! Called multiple times and kept being told shuttle is on way! After over an Hour a shuttle pulls up as pulling up someone from hotel called asking if shuttle has come I responded it’s here now thinking yay finally we r going to hotel! The driver gets out and tells us he isn’t going to take us to the hotel and says he only has 3 seats left we say well there’s only 2 of us! He said ya well I have other people to pick up so you have to wait! I said it’s been over an hr of waiting! He continues to say he only has 3 seats and is refusing to take us and says to get another shuttle it will be 30 min about didn’t care was rude and walked away and left us! The people around us waiting for other pic up where in shock as much as us and said what and why that was rude and we all said we had never had any shuttle service rufuse to pick up guests before and he said he has room! I didn’t know shuttle services pick and choose who they pick up and when isn’t it first come first service we have room pick up!?!? So Waited and called again and again and We finally got picked up by a different shuttle this was a older guy white hair he was nice but did stack luggage as it has to go in back of van, it was all scratched scuffed up which I was not happy about but at least he picked us up seemed to be nice guy! It would’ve been nice if they cared more for your luggage and didn’t pile it on top of others and damage it! I didn’t get his name but when he picked up others they said the same guy before who’s name is Jose refused to pick them up as well and his bus was completely empty they said! From first call to hotel asking about shuttle to when we got to the hotel took 2 hrs!!! I am kinda glad we didn’t get the first driver as he pulls a small trailer and I bet luggage really gets damaged in there falling and flopping around! Very frustrating! When checking in they made excuses she did apologize and when we came back to get dinner we said we r not blaming you but this is not ok and you need to know so u can report it as well! The girl was very apologetic and said she would report him! Check in was easy fast! Room was ok but the use so much scented cleaner I had a major headache and felt ill so if your sensitive to chemicals and scent i would not stay here! I wish I had seen this in reviews cause I would have picked a different hotel! Please stop using chemical scented over perfumed cleaning products Hilton!! Also windows do not open ugh! I cracked the ac/air and kept bathroom fan running constantly! I would never stay here again due to the shuttle service and the strong scented rooms! If the hotel changed shuttle service drivers got drivers who pick up don’t stack luggage picked up with in the 30min they say and stopped using perfume cleaners I would prob recommend the hotel! The restaurant is cute and lobby is clean! We did to go order which was very fast the waiter was nice and the open area u can see in kitchen looked very very clean!! The chef you can see making the food looked very clean and cared about his kitchen and food making! Also we opted to uber for inconvenience and wait and hotel and Jose said the will not reimburse you for it even though it’s there mess up of no pick up! I would suggest getting a uber if you do stay here and if use shuttle leave complaint if you experience bad service so Hilton can fix these issues! Desk told us the drivers are third party drivers well Hilton you need to find new buses drivers and car about your customers and their luggage!

    Comfortable clean stay and friendly staff

    We few in from the uk on Saturday 21st of March 2026 to do a cruise. Then after the cruise we are coming back to this hotel to stay a night before we fly back to the uk. This hotel was very nice and clean and well presented when we arrived. The pictures on trip advisor do not represent the hotel really it’s a lot more up to date. We got the free airport shuttle to the hotel. Very good service would say is we waited longer for the shuttle than getting through airport security and baggage claim. When we arrived at the front desk the gentleman who was on the desk was friendly and polite. We arrived at the home at 4pm and our room was not quite ready but after a 5 minute waite we were good to go. There was only one working lift which was a pain as there was a lot of people. Our room was clean and tidy and nice. We didn’t eat at the hotel we got a uber and went to a American favourite olive garden. We checked out early Sunday morning to get our uber to the port of Miami as we were told before we arrived the port of Miami was a crazy place to get to. Shop was very good had a good selection of drinks and snacks we got a couple before we left, So I will report back on my second stay after Sunday 29th March. And will add pictures if I remember.

    This hotel was not up to par. Staff was very rude. Breakfast was $17 and included an 18% tip......Why should I tip a waitress who serves 3 out of 4 people and never comes back with the 4th meal? I went to her and said are you going to serve me and she said did you not get your meal? Really you want an 18% tip? The lobby and restaurant were very cold...no heat apparently. I would not recommend this hotel.     Staff were friendly & helpful - check in & out was efficient, despite the busy period (food & wine festival). Great location, easy access to the beach.Even though the rooms were a little small, overall still comfy & the friendly crew made the overall stay pleasant.     My family and friends stayed at this hotel for one night to leave for a cruise. We all stayed November 29th to the 30th. My grandson had on a red head wrap. The hotel charged me a $150.00 because the housekeeper said two pillowcases had red stains. I have never in my life had a situation like this. I know for a fact it does not cost $150.00 for two pillowcases. I called the hotel multiple times regarding this charge. They kept telling me the GM would call me back, never returned not one call. At this point I will reach out to Hilton Corporate Headquarters in hopes of getting this matter resolved. HGI Management, at Hilton Garden Inn Miami Airport West, responded to this review Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I’m truly sorry for the frustration this situation has caused.After reviewing the room, there were multiple items found with red staining, not just the pillowcases, which is why the charge was applied. That said, I completely understand your concern and how this may have come as a surprise.I also sincerely apologize that your calls were not returned that is not acceptable and will be addressed internally.
