    Very disappointing experience

    Overall, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing. I stayed here for work, and the booking was arranged for me. From the start, the staff seemed uninterested in helping and provided poor customer service.During my stay, the cleaning staff entered my room despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being displayed on the door. In addition, two of the supposedly fresh towels and one of the four washcloths had long black hairs on them, which was unacceptable.After my stay, I needed an itemized receipt showing the nightly rate for work reimbursement purposes. I called the hotel on two separate occasions and spoke with front desk staff who both assured me they would email the receipt, but I never received anything.I have considered staying at La Quinta properties in the past, but after this experience, I will be sticking with Hilton and Marriott moving forward. erika diaz, General Manager at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Miami Airport West, responded to this review Dear Guest,Please accept my profound apologies for your very disappointing experience at our hotel.     Nice pool/hot tub

    There was a nice pool and hot tub. They close at 9pm which is early. The room we were in had roaches. I woke up in the middle of the night and seen two roaches. I was not happy. I won't probably stay here again as it was to far from where I needed to be. It is close to Wal-Mart. Longhorn Steakhouse, has a cool free trolley in Doral to ride on. We missed it. Also hotel may have been going through some sort of renovation not exactly sure. Breakfast was not that good. We ended up just eating Sams Club pizza down the street. The staff were nice and friendly.     Room didn’t much photos that were shown though Expedia it was very old.     Transportation is a joke.

    Do not use transportation to airport. We have been on this bus for 2 hours and it keeps stalling out. We are late to our cruise. Driver will not communicate with us on a solution.     Ok but could have been better

    We arrived late at night to have room where the A/C didn’t work, we mentioned this to the receptionist in the morning as we were too worn out after waiting 3hrs for our luggage at the airport. Unfortunately it wasn’t fixed until we mentioned after being out for the day, the maintenance guy turns up and says he wasn’t surprised as he was getting around to changing the compressor.
