This family-friendly beach hotel is nestled on Ocean Drive and is only steps away from the most breathtaking beaches. The trendy South Beach location, at Miami Beach's southern end, is the playground of the beautiful, tanned, and rich. European and Latin American jetsetters hold court amid Ocean Drive's Art Deco shops and cafés, where a thriving arts scene is matched by vibrant nightlife. People watching is a favourite pastime at the beach and at Lincoln Road Pedestrian Mall. Bal Harbour's boutiques border the north end of Miami Beach, which is only minutes from the Convention Center and the Port of Miami. Miami International Airport is approximately 4 km from the city hotel and Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport is around 49 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 49 rooms, including 12 junior suites, 14 single rooms and 19 double rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift.     Stuck in elevator.

    I got stuck in the elevator and the fire department was called to get me out. Management tried to act like it didn't happen until I told them I was the one stuck, then they acknowledged it. Justin Sternad, General Manager at Majestic Hotel South Beach, responded to this review Thank you for your feedback.We regret the inconvenience caused by the elevator interruption on May 31, 2026. The safety of our guests is always our highest priority.While management was not on property at the time of the incident, our front desk team responded immediately after receiving the elevator's emergency call, contacted Miami Fire Rescue in accordance with established procedures, and notified both on-site maintenance and management. At no point did hotel staff dispute that the incident occurred.The elevator's safety systems functioned as designed by removing the elevator from service after detecting an operational irregularity, and the guest was never in danger. Following the incident, the elevator was inspected by our licensed elevator contractor, who confirmed that the equipment's safety features operated appropriately.While we sincerely regret the inconvenience experienced, we appreciate the opportunity to clarify the circumstances surrounding this isolated incident.

    We had a wonderful time here. Staff super friendly and helpfull.Room is small but super clean, bed comfy and towels always changed and cleanLocated in the best part of Ocean Drive, ambiance cool but not so wild - yet 2 minutes walk from the partyWill definitly come back!

    I left about 140$ in a sealed envelope in the hotel. I was on an Uber on the way to the airport. I was ready to just give up on the money. But they went out of their way to help me and make it work, and sent me the money a different way. And I really appreciate that, thank you.

    Very nice and hospitable! I loved the atmosphere and the vibe was very fit for the location. Foods was delicious at the on site restaurant. Would stay again!
