    No place I’d rather stay! Simply home away from home with ALL necessities covered. Amazing atmosphere and literally everything within walking distance.     My worst experience with Nuvo

    Please take a look at the notice on the wall. I have never seen anything like this in any other hotel, which shows that they regularly have plumbing issues.I have been traveling across different cities in Florida for a week, and every day I have given excellent ratings to all the hotels I stayed in. Unfortunately, this property has been the worst experience of my entire trip.From the moment we arrived, the toilet in our room was clogged. I called the front desk at 9 PM, and I was told that someone would come to fix it. We waited for a long time, and because we were exhausted, we eventually fell asleep. During the night, I called again, and the staff member told me to come downstairs and take a plunger myself. This is completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and absolutely not the guest’s responsibility. We even tried using the plunger, and it did not work.I also requested a room change, and the staff told me I had to wait until morning, which is unacceptable and extremely unreasonable. I am requesting a full refund for this stay, and due to the severe inconvenience and the unacceptable treatment we received, I am also requesting additional compensation.Additionally, we discovered that the beds in the room were infested with bedbugs, which resulted in multiple bites on our bodies requiring medical attention.Despite notifying hotel staff, no effective action was taken to resolve these issues. This constitutes a clear violation of the expected health and safety standards for a hotel in Florida.This level of customer service is unacceptable. I am traveling with my 12-year-old daughter, and it was extremely difficult and unsafe to take her to the lobby in the middle of the night just to use the bathroom. As noted in the room guidelines, these items cannot be disposed of in the toilet, as they cause immediate blockages.Concerning the report of bedbugs, the certified pest-control company inspected the room on the day of your checkout. Their findings confirmed that no signs of bedbugs or any pest activity were present. We follow all state-required procedures in these cases, and the inspection results verified that the room met health and safety standards throughout your stay.We truly regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. As a gesture of goodwill, the refund for the night was processed at the time of checkout.If you would like additional details regarding the inspection or our findings, we would be happy to provide them.
