This hostel warmly welcomes guests in Miami Beach. For those in need of an adults-only holiday, it provides everything needed for a pleasant stay.

Facility

The hostel has a lift and features 58 non-smoking rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. The hostel provides a safe, a cash machine, a TV room, a transfer service, a laundry service, a business centre and a coin-operated laundry. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a hotel shuttle bus.     Comparable to a homeless shelter rather than a hostel. Pictures are incredibly deceiving it’s all open so you can just wander into other sections. It stinks, kitchen is untidy, very unclear on how to get to the hostel, they just give you a key and off you go. Booked through Expedia, and when arrived was told I had to pay the same amount in resort fees???? What exactly am I paying for a pool? How ridiculous. Beware of this hostel if you can call it that, pay a bit more for generator or freehand.     BEWARE!!! Transient hostel.HOSTEL Too many street people.The pictures are not realistic,the manager was 0 as ZERO HELP when things were stolen from my bed,NO TOILET PAPER!!!! Dirty showers.     What a wonderful experience at Posh! The cleanliness of the place was outstanding, and Arlyn was super friendly and attentive when we met her.     Bad experience. I didn’t feel safety, disrespectful employees. Crazy guests so if you are a women traveling by it self you definitely should not going to feel safe. Beyond that the whole place is dirty and smells bad.     Good Deal for the Price and Location

    I went on a solo trip last year and it was my very first trip to Miami. Since I did not want to drive and wanted to be able to walk to places while having a roof over my head during the night, I ended up at this place. Having been in many youth hostels myself, I already had an idea what the experience would be like.Granted that because it is a youth hostel, it is targeted more towards people on a budget, which was fine with me. Plus, it gave me the chance to meet and talk to people there rather than if I just had my own private room.I found the location to be ideal as it was within walking distance of restaurants, stores, public transportation, and best of all, the beach! I could walk from my room at the hostel and end up in the beach in about 15 minutes. The surrounding area is safe.I enjoyed the pool not only because it was clean, but since it was on the rooftop, it offered a bit of privacy especially if you want to quietly relax away from the crowds. Be aware that it has limited hours like at other hotels. I think the last time I was there it was from roughly 9 AM- 7 PM.I liked the fact that we were all assigned a lock for our lockers to put away our luggage. The lockers are under each bed.Perhaps the only drawbacks that I could think of were that unlike all the other youth hostels that I've used in the past, Posh South Beach DOES NOT include a free breakfast. It wasn't really an issue to me since I could easily buy a quick bite at many places around the area, and it isn't a big expense.The restrooms could use a bit of an update, but they were clean for most of my stay there.Overall, I'm really thinking of returning here on my upcoming Miami trip this year.
