Avoid a room near the restaurant

    rating07 Jun 2026

There were some things I really liked about this hotel and a few things that would make me think twice about staying again. The room itself was very nice, with attractive décor and a modern feel. The pool area was also a highlight and was a great place to relax during the stay. The biggest downside was the noise. My room overlooked the restaurant, and it felt like a party was going on right outside the window until around midnight. Just when I thought I’d get a quiet morning, music started up again at about 8am. If you’re a light sleeper or hoping for a peaceful stay, I’d strongly recommend requesting a room away from the restaurant area.Overall, the property has a lot going for it, particularly the pool, but the noise levels significantly impacted my sleep and because of those wouldn’t recommend. Candela Gil, Owner at Liberty Park Hotel, responded to this review Dear Daniel,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your room’s décor and modern feel, as well as our pool area, which you found relaxing during your stay.At the same time, we sincerely apologize for the noise disturbances you experienced. We understand how important a restful environment is, and we regret that the activity near the restaurant affected your comfort and sleep quality. We truly appreciate your balanced feedback, as it helps us better understand our guests' experiences and identify areas where we can improve. Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.Kind regards,Reservation Team

    Avoid this Hotel

    rating11 Apr 2026

I’m giving this hotel 2 stars, mainly because the rooftop pool area is the only real highlight—even though you have to go through another hotel to access it.On arrival, the front of the hotel looks impressive, but unfortunately, this isn’t where you’ll actually be staying. Guests are directed around the back, past the Italian restaurant, and through a rear entrance, which gives a very different first impression. The rooms were clean, but they are clearly worn and in need of refurbishment. We stayed here three separate times during a 15-day trip around Florida, using it as a base in Miami. If our bookings hadn’t already been arranged, we would not have returned after the first stay. The additional charges are excessive—a $42 resort fee per room per night, plus a $100 per night deposit per room, which feels like a complete rip-off. I haven’t yet confirmed whether all deposits have been returned, but if not, I will be raising this with my credit card provider. The reception staff were disappointing. They seemed poorly trained, inefficient, and unsure of what they were doing. On our third stay, they lost one of our reservations. It took over an hour and a half to resolve, only to find the booking had been there all along—an error on their part. No apology was offered.I will be informing my travel agency not to book clients into this hotel in the future. And, as expected, I’m sure this review will receive a generic response from management. Candela Gil, Owner at Liberty Park Hotel, responded to this review Dear Munty ,Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations, especially after choosing to stay with us multiple times during your trip. While we are pleased that you enjoyed the rooftop pool and found the rooms clean, we regret that other aspects of your stay, including the arrival experience, room condition, and overall presentation, did not meet the standard we aim to provide. We sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered with your reservations and the service at the front desk. The situation you described is certainly not the experience we want for our guests, and we understand how frustrating this must have been.We also appreciate your comments regarding the additional charges and deposit, and your feedback has been shared with the appropriate teams for internal review.Warmest regards, reservation team

Nice hotel but falsely charged for allegedly taking mini bar items!!

    rating11 Apr 2026

Stayed in this hotel last week. The staff here were pleasant and the room was a decent size with a good air con and included a television with netflix, youtube and Disney access which was a god send given the poor weather whilst we were there. The food at the Bella restaurant was also excellent, albeit quite pricey. However, the hotel is falsely advertised. There are actually two parts to this hotel - the liberty beach part and the boulan hotel. The pictures provided are mostly of the boulan part of the hotel which is where the rooftop pool is and do not reflect the actual liberty beach part of the hotel which wasn't as nice to look it, so it is misleading in that aspect. If you stay in the liberty beach hotel, the roof top pool bar is in the boulan part and involves a walk and two different lift trips to get there which was a bit bizarre. When we checked out, we had incurred a service charge for allegedly taking 'm and m's' from the mini bar. We know that mini bars are extortionate so me and my friend made sure that we bought drinks and snacks from the local shop a 2 minute walk away. We challenged this with the receptionist who ensured us that he would check with the housekeeping staff and that we would be refunded. However, this has not been the case and I received a further bill today with the charge on it, which I may add even if we had used it is extortionate - 6 dollars for a tiny bag of M and M's plus a $0.80 'tax' free and a $1.80 mini bar tip.I am disappointed that the money has not been returned. If we were really that desperate for some M and M's, we would have headed to the local shop to get them for a considerably less price than the charges we have been given for something we didn't even take!! Candela Gil, Owner at Liberty Park Hotel, responded to this review Dear Lily,Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We are glad to hear that you found our team pleasant, enjoyed the comfort of your room, and had a positive dining experience at Bella. We are sorry to learn about the concerns you raised regarding the property layout and how it was presented, as well as your experience with the minibar charge. We understand how frustrating this situation must have been, especially after it was initially addressed during your check out. Please know that this is not the experience we aim to provide, and we sincerely regret any confusion or inconvenience caused.Your comments regarding the distinction between the different sections of the property and the access to certain amenities have been noted, as we understand how important clarity is when setting expectations for our guests.Regarding the minibar charge, your feedback has been taken seriously and shared with the appropriate teams for a thorough review. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention.Warmest regards, reservation team

Liberty Park ADA access room not suitable for quadriplegic

    rating29 Mar 2026

I had a room reservation from Liberty Park from 17th to 21st of March. It was 2 bed ADA accessible roomBefore I reserved it I red ADA reqs conserning bed hights and bathroom. So I understood that the room is according to it.i am c6-c7 quadriplegic, can't do easy transfers, can't wlk n stand on my feetWhen I got keys to ADA access room and I was in shock, bed is too high, I won't be able to transfer on it safely, the other one was bathroom, there is atleast 6 inch step to shower area, so no roll in showerthose two things were the reason that I couln't stay in the room.I payed the room without possibility to cancell it because I believed that your ADA access room means low bed and shower without step.i discussed with hotel manager and sking to REFUND my hotel payment but the only thing she was able or willing to do was that I should write to reservations group. so I wrote but not any reply Candela Gil, Owner at Liberty Park Hotel, responded to this review Dear Risto,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you encountered with the ADA accessible room and the impact this had on your stay. Your situation is deeply concerning, and we sincerely regret that the room did not meet your expectations or needs. We understand how important proper accessibility features are, and we are very sorry that the bed height and bathroom setup made the room unsuitable for you. This is not the experience we aim to provide, and we regret any frustration caused, especially given that you selected the room based on specific accessibility requirements. We also apologize for the lack of follow-up after you reached out to our reservations team. This is certainly not the level of communication we strive for, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.Warmest regards,Reservation team
