Location

The hotel is located in South Beach within steps of the beach, The Miami Beach Golf Course, the convention centre and the famed Collins Avenue. Guests will find restaurants and bars in Lincoln Road Mall, which is around 4 minutes' drive from the hotel, and the Flamingo Park and the nightlife of Ocean Drive are 6 minutes by car. The Bass Museum and the Miami Beach Visitor Center are just 2 minutes' drive. Miami International Airport is approximately 16 km from the hotel.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 160 rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected.     Just be careful to this hotel,i never received my deposit back,they said to me when I left that are tgey going to give back tge deposit after 1 week,almost 1 month and nothing.they also don’t answer to emails! , Owner at Tradewinds Apartment Hotel, responded to this review We sincerely apologize for the delay in communication and any frustration regarding your security deposit.Please be advised that the hold has been released on our end. However, as this amount was an authorization and not a charge, you would not see this value shown as a refund on your bank statement. Instead, the pending authorization is released, and the funds are returned to your bank account balance or credit limit.     Avoid at all costs!!

    Me and my partner arrived here on the 25th of April and had booked for 1week. On first arrival the reception smelt foul, stale smell that had never been cleaned. We got our room number, staff was ok but didn’t show us where to go, after 10mins of finding the room we had to walk up 2 flights of stairs which isn’t easy with luggage. The room was dark, dirty and smelt foul like a mouldy smell. Deciding we weren’t happy with the room we went back to reception to get another room and there was only another one available. It was the other side of building, it looked slightly better than the first one so we took it. Settling in we noticed it was dirty, round the sink was cracked, the bathroom was a health hazard with a cracked tile on the floor and concrete loose.. the shower didn’t work well. Over all it was not anything like the photos online. It’s dirty, completely neglected and needs shut down! I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star only I had to for posting..     Wet Bedding, Broken Bathroom and Completely Ignored Complaints

    I STRONGLY WARN TRAVELERS TO THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING THIS PROPERTY.My week-long stay at Tradewinds Apartment Hotel in Miami over the New Year period was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.The room was completely different from what was advertised in the photos. The apartment was extremely outdated, poorly maintained, and many things were broken or barely functioning. The bathroom was in terrible condition with damaged tiles and leaking plumbing. Water from the shower and fixtures was constantly running onto the floor.The biggest issue was the severe humidity and condensation in the room. Water was literally running down the windows like rain. The bedding and mattress felt damp the entire time because there was no proper ventilation or dehumidification system. Sleeping in those conditions for several nights was extremely uncomfortable and unhealthy.Despite raising these issues multiple times during my stay, the hotel staff ignored my complaints. No meaningful solution was offered until the very last day, when I was already checking out.This was also a business trip combined with New Year travel, and I arrived healthy but left feeling sick after spending a week in a damp room and sleeping in wet bedding.To make matters worse, the booking platform (Hotels in America / Super.com support) refused to take responsibility and simply redirected me back to the hotel. The hotel then denied any refund, even though I documented the condition of the room with photos.In my opinion, this is extremely misleading advertising and very poor customer service. Travelers should be aware that the actual condition of the property may be very different from what is presented online.I travel to Miami frequently and have stayed in many hotels there, but I have never experienced conditions like this.I strongly recommend that travelers carefully reconsider before booking this property. , Owner at Tradewinds Apartment Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback.     Booked a double bed room and received a single bed, was told they ended up selling out and I was lied to at booking, so they couldn’t do anything. Room was dirty, dishes and towels were dirty, oven didn’t work and front door to the room had a gap so big you could look into the room from outside. I had to put plastic bags in the gap so you couldn’t see into the room. Also there is a $35 a day fee that was not disclosed at time of reservation. Would never recommend a stay here.
