This boutique Art Déco hotel is located on Collins Avenue, in the centre of South Beach. The beach is within 2 blocks of the place where water sports equipment is available for rent, and Lincoln Road shops and restaurants are within 1.5 km. The 18-hole Bayshore Golf Club is within 3 km of the hotel. Miami International Airport is about 11 km away and Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport is some 28 km from the establishment.

Facility

The hostel has 3 junior suites, 4 suites, 45 single rooms and 2 double rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities available at the hostel include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hostel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Perfect Spot in Miami Beach

    I travelled solo and Viajero was perfect for my needs! I was out and about a lot, and this was the perfect home base, being so close to the beach and centrally located to everything else I wanted to do. I stayed in a 10 bed mixed dorm, but felt like I had my own little space with the privacy curtains. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the place was as clean as can be expected for a shared space on the beach (shower can get a little sandy at night, but cleaned daily). The hostel facilitates meeting other travellers with daily activities and a Whatsapp group you can join, that people did actually use to make plans! I was walking distance from the botanical gardens, convention center, tennis and volleyball courts, South Point Park for beautiful sunset views, and, of course, the beach. When I come back to Miami, I am definitely staying here!

    Hotel met my basic necessary room needs, nothing more or nothing less, but....Noisy in rooms..heard people in rooms above and below until.around 2.am.most nights.Quirky lobby with stains (coffee or otherwise) on chairs and sofas.Telephone non operational in Room;maintainence could not fix the issue.Cold weather required extra blanket...blanket had coffee stains.Check-in was easy...desk personnel were accommodating and allowed to check luggage due to early arrival.Not really my 'cup of tea' hotel...

    The entrance is nice and the hostel is overall fun-looking and nice. The bedroom was quite basic, with a strong smell of detergent and a very dirty carpet outside the room. Overall it has a lot of potential but isn't well taken care of, making the stay less comfortable.Staff is quite unhelpful and doesn't seem to be very interested in providing a good service. It's acceptable to stay for a night, but very basic.

    I would not recommend this hotel. We found our room floor to be very dirty. We felt the hotel smelled like pot all the time. We were also surprised to get charged a $28.50 resort fee. When I asked what the fee was for they told me that it was for a bottle of water that was in our refrigerator and a coffee in the morning, which neither of us drink and the use of the two little pools that nobody used. The sink stopper was stuck down in the sink and I had to pry it out so we could use the sink. Very disappointed, but I guess you only get what you pay for. There are so many nicer hotels along Miami Beach that would be better. The TV had a very weird color hue in it. And we also had to listen to the beating of loud music for most of the evening.

    Great stay at Viajero!

    This was my 1st time at a hostel & I’m so glad I chose Viajero. It was perfect as a solo traveler. Everyone was very friendly & the hostel had daily activities to foster engagement. In addition, their group messaging through WhatsApp offered even more options. I stayed in a female only 6 bed dorm. My bed was very comfortable, the room was big, & the bathroom was spacious as well. I really liked that each bunk had its own curtain for privacy and offered 2 lights: one for reading & 1 for overall brightness. Not only was this property a great value, the location really can’t be beat as it’s right in the center of action in South Beach. I have nothing negative to say. I’d recommend this hostel to anyone.
