    Poor Check In Experience

    rating15 Mar 2026

Poor customer service. Even though the company that hired me took all the steps to book me ahead of time and have everything arranged appropriately, as soon as I got to the hotel from a late international flight, the hotel front desk representative informed me that the hotel had overbook and that I needed to go to another hotel. To be fair, they did arrange transportation to the other hotel, but I ended up sleeping only 3 hours before I had to get up and deliver a full day of training. I know Hyatt can do better and will love for them to elevate the custoemr service experience for other executives. Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Owner at Hyatt Regency Morristown, responded to this review Hello Veronica,Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the overbooking and understand how frustrating that must have been after a long international flight. Your feedback is important and helps us continue to elevate the experience for all our guests. We appreciate you giving us the chance to improve and we hope to welcome you back for a much smoother stay.Best wishes,Macy

They don't tell you about a $25 parking fee in advance. I was told by person who checked me in he was not going to charge me for parking until the next day as it may be waived. He charged me when I checked in. Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Owner at Hyatt Regency Morristown, responded to this review Hello Daniel, thank you for taking time to share feedback on your recent stay at Hyatt Regency Morristown. I am sorry to hear that your stay did not meet expectations. Please send your stay information and a brief descriptions to: propertyreviews@hyatt.com. We would like the opportunity to make this right for you. We look forward to your future stays with Hyatt. Best Regards, Christi

    Excellent service

We stayed here on 2/22 during an incredibly stressful situation — my 86-year-old mother had fallen and broken her leg and needed surgery the next morning. With a storm (ahem, blizzard) approaching, we chose to stay close to the hospital. She was wheelchair-bound, and managing everything was not easy. The staff was extraordinary.A young man in the parking area immediately stepped in to help with all of our luggage. A manager (short blonde haircut) personally made sure we were settled and comfortable. The next morning, two security guards dropped what they were doing and kindly helped me get my mother safely into the car.Every interaction was warm, professional, and compassionate. In a very difficult moment, their team made all the difference.Truly grateful for the care and kindness we experienced here. Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Owner at Hyatt Regency Morristown, responded to this review Hello K7670YZmaryf,Thank you so much for sharing this thoughtful review. We are truly honored that you chose to stay with us during such a stressful and emotional time, and we’re incredibly grateful to hear that our team was able to support you and your mother when you needed it most.It means so much to know that our staff—from the parking attendant who helped with your luggage, to the manager who ensured your comfort, to the security team who assisted you the next morning—provided the care, compassion, and professionalism you deserved. We will make sure each of them knows the impact they had on your stay.Navigating an emergency, especially with a loved one who is wheelchair‑bound, is never easy, and we’re glad we could offer even a small measure of relief and stability in the midst of such a difficult situation.Thank you again for your kind words. We hope your mother’s surgery went smoothly and that her recovery is steady and comfortable. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if we can support you in any way during future visits.Warm regards,RebeccaGuest Experience
