Clerk lied to us; Shower doesn’t get hot

    rating23 Feb 2026

My husband and I checked in on Monday, February 23 around 4 o’clock. There were two young women at the front desk. While we were checking in, I specifically asked the clerk for a quiet room. She remarked, “Oh, it will be quiet,” as the other clerk looked at her and they both snickered. Rather than question their laugh, we went up to room 330 and heard and saw the interstate traffic through our window. I realize that the hotel is located on the interstate, but when I asked for something quiet, if no quiet rooms were available, the clerk could have said so and set our expectations. Since we were only staying for one night, we didn’t address it.In addition to the poor customer service that we received, the shower water temperature was insufficient. The water does not get hot, but at best slightly above lukewarm. Even still, the water temperature was inconsistent. It switched between lukewarm to barely warm, and this is during the winter while it was literally 30° outside. I had to rush to finish my shower. Maybe this is their intention as a means to reduce water. Finally, there was a crack at the hinge of our door. Thought it is at the top side of the door, it is low enough that a person could actually peer into the room.Everything else about our visit was fine, but it was completely overshadowed by our experience with the dishonest clerk and the shower’s water temperature. Decent stay but could be better

    rating21 Oct 2025

A decent stay. Nice big clean bed in a budget hotel. Decent location about 15 minutes walk in to Broadway. Breakfast was ok. The pool was scruffy and needed a good clean so I didn’t use it. It’s a shame our room had the smallest window I have ever seen in our room. We felt very safe in the hotel and around this area General Manager, Guest Services / Front Office at Comfort Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown - Stadium, responded to this review Dear Valued Guest,We are glad that your stay was enjoyable and that we were able to exceed most of your expectations for a great price. Great location

    rating18 Oct 2025

We booked this hotel for our family trip to Nashville and stayed in the family suite, which was perfect for our group of five. The suite is essentially two rooms combined: the main room has two queen beds, a TV, and a bathroom, while the second room is a separate bedroom with a king bed. There was plenty of space for all of us and our luggage, which made for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the continental breakfast offered each morning. The selection was great—waffles, pastries, bagels, toast, yogurt, fresh fruit, hot and cold cereal, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, home fries, biscuits, orange and apple juice, plus coffee and tea. Something for everyone! The hotel also features a fun guitar-shaped pool and includes free parking, which was a huge bonus.Location-wise, it’s just a 20-minute walk to Broadway, though it doesn’t feel that long. It's a short walk to the pedestrian bridge, and once you’re across, you’re right between Lainey Wilson’s bar and the Country Music Hall of Fame. Super convenient for exploring downtown. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. They were always available when we needed extra towels or essentials, which we really appreciated.A few things we would change about the room setup: with five people, a second bathroom would’ve made getting ready much easier. The main bathroom has the toilet and stand-up shower in one room, but the sink and vanity are located just outside the bathroom. This means you have to open the door and step out to wash your hands, which isn’t ideal. The biggest downside right now is the construction going on at Nissan Stadium, which is directly behind the hotel. The noise from equipment starts early in the morning and some nights went on until midnight or later. It definitely impacted our sleep and overall experience.Overall, this hotel worked well for our family trip—spacious, great breakfast, and walkable to downtown—but the construction noise is something to seriously consider if you're planning to stay soon. General Manager, Guest Services / Front Office at Comfort Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown - Stadium, responded to this review Dear Erin C,Our suites are definitely family-friendly, and we are delighted everyone enjoyed having the extra space to spread out and relax! Thank you for the kind review and taking time to evaluate our service and location as well. We are glad to know you loved our guitar-shaped pool; it's a must-see in Nashville! We are also thrilled to hear you enjoyed our buffet breakfast. It's our goal to offer a satisfying start to the day with a selection of fresh, tasty options. However, we truly regret that nearby construction affected your comfort and rest during your stay with us. A seamless, relaxing experience remains our priority, and we will continually explore ways to provide this for our guests with our evolving surroundings. It was a true pleasure hosting you and your family here at Comfort Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown - Stadium, and we look forward to your next visit.Best Regards,Steven ColliersGeneral Manager

    Good place for the money

This hotel is about 15 to 20 minutes walk to Broadway. Room was clean and free breakfast was good. Stayed here 2 nights then moved to wedtin for conference. There was no view through the window and I believe i reserved a pool view. But over all in gave them a 5 General Manager, Guest Services / Front Office at Comfort Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown - Stadium, responded to this review Dear 949frankiel,Thank you for sharing your experience and for giving us such a great rating. Pass on this location

    rating22 Jul 2025

My husband and I travel a lot, this is among the most disappointing stays that we've ever had. Since returning I've read some pretty bad reviews of this place, most of them center around customer service and cleanliness. We had no issue with the front desk, check in was quick and easy. And our room was pretty clean, updated. A little sparse maybe, not homey at all, but clean. The free breakfast exceeded expectations. My issue is the fact that we had no window. There was only like a 9 x 15 window that was up too high to see out of (see pics). We were in Nashville for a concert, it was really hot and it rained on and off the whole time we were there, so we weren't planning to do much other than the concert. We did go to Broadway for a couple hours one night, but other than that, we were in the room. This wasn't a good room for that. We had booked our stay long ago, when we first bought the concert tickets. I'm sure there are better rooms here, and I'm not sure why we were the guests that were relegated to the 'dungeon', as I was calling it. It felt like we were staying in an oversized closet. We work hard and have precious little time off, and this was not how I wanted to spend this time. I think if you're going to give someone a room with no window, you call it an obstructed view, and you charge less for it. Also the shower never had hot water, it was lukewarm at best. Parking was also an issue. For these reasons I do not recommend this hotel. General Manager, Guest Services / Front Office at Comfort Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown - Stadium, responded to this review Dear Jiminy13, Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for taking the time to share your review. Our goal is to provide a memorable stay to all our guests; therefore, we apologise for not meeting your expectations with the room design. We regret the disappointment this caused, and we will share your comments appropriately as we are committed to improving our guests' experience. We are also sorry for the difficulties you encountered with the shower in your room, and we can understand the frustration this caused. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we will address this with our maintenance team. We would like to share that our front desk is available around the clock to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We hope you and your husband will give us another opportunity to deliver to you the exceptional stay that you should always expect from us.Best Regards,Steven ColliersGeneral Manager
