This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a hotel. The AC unit sounds like a plane is landing in the parking lot. Our room had a blood stain right by the front door. The floor was completely uneven to the point the drawers didn't stay closed. The shower head didn't adjust; it was either HOT or off. The breakfast had no flow, rhyme or reason or common sense. The waffle maker was empty every AM, it took at minimum 20 minutes for it to be refilled, by that time we were either done eating or there were multiple people in line. It also was completely unprofessional and unhygienic that the front desk clerk was smoking right outside the front entrance.

Had called about early checkin. Was told we could at no charge with membership status which we have. Arrived & could not so so without extra charge.Website says 24 hr airport shuttle. So advised front desk when we tried to checkin early that we needed airport shuttle by 3:20 am. They had a sign saying shuttle starting at 4:30. When I asked why website said 24 hr if they didn’t offer there was no reason given. Would not have booked there had we known we’d have to get an Uber. Reason for choosing this hotel was because of 24 hr shuttle service. When we got to check in - after we had gone to the Opry, he room was very nice. Front desk agent was very hard to hear and understand.

Bathroom floor had water standing, house keeper I guess forgot to mop it up. When we got up in the morning the shower did not work at all. Ask to speak to the manager and he was unavailable (they said) was bot offered another room to shower and still had to pay full price.

It was comfortable and check-in went well. They do offer shuttle services which is nice, but they need to let you call for your shuttle from airport when you land, especially in high traffic times. Elm Hill Pk is also kind of a sketchy area.

This hotel is in very poor condition. Several lamps were missing their shades. The sheets on one of our beds was threadbare. The mattress pad on the second bed was stained. The blackout curtain on the window was badly damaged and ineffective at blocking light. Some of the light switches were blackened by either mold or stained by years of dirt. There was dirt in the drawers of both the dresser and nightstand . It was also on the floor of the bathroom around the tub. The toilet appeared to have been used by someone before we arrived. The entire room had an overwhelming disinfectant odor, despite all the cleanliness issues. The carpet in the room was vacuumed in the open spaces, but not around the beds. The hallway outside our room appeared not to have been vacuumed in days.
