  Incorrect Charge With No Resolution

  I have stayed at this property many times in the past and never had an issue until this stay. I was incorrectly charged $60 for a late checkout, even though I did not check out late. Before leaving, I asked the front desk if there was anything else I needed to do to check out, and I was never informed that there would be a late checkout fee.Since then, I have contacted the hotel multiple times and was repeatedly told by the front desk staff that the charge would be refunded to my card. Despite these assurances, I never received a refund. I also requested multiple call backs from the manager, but my calls were never returned.I contacted the third-party booking site I used, and they informed me that the hotel manager claimed I agreed to the charge. This is completely false. I never agreed to a late checkout fee, nor was I told one would apply.This experience has been extremely frustrating and unacceptable. The lack of honesty, accountability, and follow-through from both staff and management is disappointing. Because of this, I would not recommend staying at this hotel and will not be returning.   Nice Remodel!!

  Marriott did a great job with the iconic Preston. The entrance was inviting, clean, and spacious. The pantry had the essentials ++. Room was very large, and comfortable and it was super clean and tidy. Service exceptional with front ofc staff. Opportunities - open the restaurant on time…business travelers have schedules to be met and not having the essentials ready is a time waster.Keep pets to certain floors; not all rooms so non-pet owners can enjoy the comforts too without having to deal with the animals.   Hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. Jayda was very helpful. The airport shuttle was right on time and the driver was super.   Hotel is under construction. Stayed to be close to the airport with a restaurant onsite. Restaurant is closed, room was NOT READY with construction debris in the shower and an unflushed, dirty toilet. Stay somewhere else until construction complete!!!!!

  Bring a Marriott Platinum member the least I expect is a property to be truthful on their website as to the amenities on property. I saw it was under construction but I had an early flight and the proximity was convenient. On the website it clearly states a restaurant and bar on property. Both were closed during construction. If they could inform customers of construction than it can easily be stated the restaurant and bar are closed. I believe the property management did this intentionally in order to book rooms. THEY LIED for profit.
