A great base for Nashville sights
18 Jun 2026
I stayed at the hotel on a road trip from New York to Dallas to watch England in the World Cup. The hotel is modern and very clean with friendly staff. The happy hour for the rooftop pool/bar was great value with $5 for a draft beer. Very friendly service there too. Parking is close and I walked downtown/Broadway and back and felt very safe. Music scene is excellent of course. Review Team, Owner at Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown Capitol View, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your experience! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the modern and clean atmosphere, as well as the friendly service from our team. It's great that you found the rooftop pool/bar happy hour to be a highlight and appreciated the convenient parking and vibrant music scene. We hope to welcome you back on your next adventure!

Friendly Front Desk
02 Mar 2026
My husband and I traveled through Nashville on our way to Florida and stayed at this lovely hotel. Parking was easily accessible and the room clean and comfortable. Louise at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. We had called prior to our arrival and she remembered us at check-in, going the extra customer service mile. We would definitely stay here again. Review Team, Owner at Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown Capitol View, responded to this review Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay and found the room clean and comfortable. We're especially pleased that Louise made such a positive impression and provided the kind of personalized service that helps make a stay memorable. We will be sure to share your kind words with her. We appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming you back the next time your travels bring you through Nashville.

Good Hotel Overall. Parking Issues.
01 Mar 2026
This hotel was in a good location, and clean. They have a great rooftop bar, with an amazing view. Parking is easy in the garage attached to it. When we checked in, the girl did not input our license plate into reservation. When we left the next day, the garage assumed we were hourly Parkers and charged us $84 (hotel charge is $40). I told them we were at the hotel, and they said Hilton needs to verify. I called, assured it’s taken care of. Next day, garage bills us and adds $54 late fee. It’s been 4 days and about 6 calls on my end, still not taken care of. Very frustrating. Make sure they put your plate number in!! A Squires, Owner at Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown Capitol View, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share these details. We’re truly sorry for the parking billing issues and the ongoing frustration this situation has caused, especially after multiple calls to try to resolve it. That is understandably upsetting and not the smooth, stress-free experience we want for our guests. We’re grateful you enjoyed our location, cleanliness, rooftop bar, and convenient garage access, but we regret that this matter overshadowed your stay. Your feedback is important and will be shared with the appropriate team.

Horrible Hampton
18 Feb 2026
Don’t stay at this hotel. The lobby furniture is dirty and falling apart. The rooms are equally outdated and the bed is very uncomfortable. Bathroom has mold in it and the shower door didn’t close right. Not to mention the cabinets coming apart. The fire system wasn’t working and no one tells you that when you book the room. This is maybe a 2 star hotel at best. I’ll never stay here again A Squires, Owner at Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown Capitol View, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your feedback. Some of the details you mentioned—particularly regarding the fire system—don’t appear to align with our property, and we want to make sure your comments reach the correct hotel and are properly addressed. If you could contact us directly (615) 780-2000 and share the date of your stay and the city/location of the hotel you visited, we’ll be glad to look into this further and point you in the right direction. If your experience was indeed with us, we would take concerns about cleanliness, room condition, and comfort very seriously and would appreciate the chance to learn more.
