Not what I expected for Hyatt chain
11 Mar 2026
Room was clean & quiet. staff was friendly. Hotel itself tho was run down - elevators and corridors were dirty. there was a sign on the elevators that said "dont press the buttons with a lot if force or they can break ? ! not sure what the clientele at this hotel is like to have that there.Never got a chance to try breakfast so cannot comment there.Anyway , was ok for a couple nights for work in the area but probably wont stay there again. Worst Trip!! So much for a birthday getaway!
05 Jan 2026
The shower was freezing! The check in guy messed up my reservation removed 2 days, charged my card 3 times, told me I had to leave after depleting my bank accounts and I had to call corporate the next morning to be able to stay! The handle on out stove top was broken and ill likely never stay at a Hyatt again due to the awful treatment at check in! General Manager, Guest Services / Front Office at Hyatt House Shelton, responded to this review Chrissy, thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry your visit did not meet expectations, and we understand how disappointing this must have been, especially for a special occasion. Your comments have been shared with our team so we can address these concerns and work to improve future guest stays.
