  Definitely haunted!

  We stayed for one night at the Andrew Jackson Hotel in room 208. Leroy was fantastic and answered all of our questions when we inquired about the room. He was there upon check-in as, as well as check-out and the process was very smooth. We were lucky enough to stay in room 208 for a night, and we wish we could have stayed longer. We had many of our belongings moved around while we were present in the room. Sadly we didn't see an apparation, nor did we see the items being moved, but I can still say we got more than we expected because of the number of items that were displaced. For example, two items were knocked off of the TV dresser and one of those items was under the bed. All of my toiletries were off the counter and in the sink, my bag of toiletries on the ground looked as if it were rummaged through. A bag of chips that I was eating was also found under the bed later on. My advice to anyone staying at this hotel would be to bring something noisy, like a maraca, and place it next to the TV. Take a picture of your belongings after you have unpacked and take a picture if something is moved (More as proof to yourself). Don't bring a stuffed animal in unless you intend to leave it. We do suspect something may have followed us home and the only reason I can think of is we only left 1 out of 2 stuffed animals that were in the room. The one that wasn't touched was the one we left :(We would absolutely stay here again, but we would stay more than one night. We would also bring some noisy items to leave around so that hopefully we could catch them being moved. There was no negative energy while staying in this room.   What a wonderful experience! Check in was the day before via email. Day of, I received text messages about my room and the key codes. I was allowed to park my motorcycle in the guest parking. And that evening the tours were taking photos of my bike infront of the hotel. It was very rewarding experience.   Recommend for couples with pets

  The staff are absolutely fantastic - Friendly, knowledgeable, and there when you need them.The hotel is very conveniently located and it is easy to slip in and out. Also, they were very accommodating for my pet and there is a great dog park very close by. The room was very quiet too.It is a very old building as the historical description explains outside of the building, so it doesn't have the modern size or newness of other hotels, but it is definitely clean which made it comfortable.   Our stay at the Andrew Jackson was AMAZING. the hotel staff was the best. We had a balcony room that was absolutely perfect to watch the rain and share a bottle of champagne with friends. If we ever book a stay at a different hotel in New Orleans, it will only be because we want to stay Uptown. This hotel and staff are quintessential New Orleans. They will treat you like family and you can’t beat the location. If you are looking for a French Quarter experience, you have to book a balcony room. The wrought iron overlooking Royal Street is unbeatable for the price. I couldn’t believe how perfect it was. Our room was clean and taken care of throughout our stay. Want a pool? Their sister hotel has two three minutes away. New favorite hotel in Nola. Thank y’all.
