Perfect for attendance at convention center
13 May 2026
Here for NKF conference. Extremely convenient. Breakfast was excellent. Reggie really helped me at check in after a travel delay. Our room was clean, updated and perfect for our trip. A walk to get to touristy areas but that's a good thing. And restaurants close to this location. General Manager, Agency / Consultant at Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans-convention Center, responded to this review We are thrilled to know your stay for the NKF conference went so well, iporter2! It is wonderful to hear that our location made attending your event so seamless and that you enjoyed breakfast each morning. We especially appreciate your mention of Reggie—our team will be glad to know his support at check-in made a positive difference after your travel delay. It is also great to hear your room matched your needs for the trip and that you found exploring nearby dining and the city enjoyable. We hope your next visit to the Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans-Convention Center is just as pleasant!

Perfect for a family
21 Mar 2026
We settled on this HI after reading reviews on trip advisor. It was perfect for us as a family. Getting to the hotel was easy with less traffic and bigger streets than the French Quarter. Pulling up for valet was simple with plenty of spots to park. The valet charge was $44/day I think. It has in and out privileges but we never drove. We walked everywhere - to the Riverfront, French Quarter and along the arts district. You can get most anywhere within 30 minutes walk/1.3-1.5 miles. I highly recommend dinner at Sofia or Meril nearby if you’re tired of Cajun food. Our room was very spacious and had one king and a sofa bed. Breakfast is included and has a lot of options - hot bar, waffles, grits, yogurt, cereal. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The best thing was how quiet it was! I rarely heard other people coming and going when we were in our rooms. General Manager, Agency / Consultant at Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans-convention Center, responded to this review Thank you so much for sharing such a thoughtful review, DnllJns. We are delighted to know that your family found the Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans-Convention Center to be the perfect fit. Hearing that your arrival and valet experience felt smooth means a great deal.It is wonderful to know your room felt spacious and quiet, allowing for true relaxation during your stay. We're also glad to hear our breakfast helped start your days off right, and that our team members made a welcoming impression. Thank you as well for highlighting the neighborhood and your local dining recommendations. We hope your next trip brings you back our way. It would be a pleasure to welcome your family again!

Buisness hotel next door to Convention center
06 Feb 2026
The location is prime for the Convention Center which is right across the street. The room was large and quiet and clean if a bit outdated. Breakfast was fine although a few vegtables and some more fruit would have been an upgrade. The only drawback was when I asked for a slightly late check out as I had a late flight. The person at reception said it is not possible to go past 12 and suggested to charger extra for even 30 minutes despite me being an honors members. I found it irrational but what do I know...... General Manager, Agency / Consultant at Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans-convention Center, responded to this review Ronen, thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed our location near the Convention Center and appreciated your spacious, quiet room. We understand your disappointment about the late check-out request and will review your comments with our team, as we aim to accommodate our loyalty members whenever possible. Your suggestions for breakfast are also appreciated as we look for ways to enhance our offerings.

Great suite options
01 Feb 2026
There was nothing not to like about this hotel. I spent a good amount of time searching for hotels which had reasonably priced suite that had two rooms. I reserved a two-queen (bedroom) with sofabed (living room / kitchen) separated by French doors. The interior was well decorated and the windows in the bedroom were actually two stories high! We cooked some instant noodles on the stove using their pot and bowls.Given the vicinity to the convention center, I believe the breakfast area was larger than usual. Your usual Hampton Inn fare if not more - waffles, bread, muffins, sausage patties, egg w cheese, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, coffee, juice.Late checkout was accommodated by front desk though the cleaning staff seemed a bit surprised when I let them know about it.It was relatively easy to find free street parking a couple blocks west. The area felt safe enough. Like other reviews mentioned, front desk is not especially responsive to phone calls from the room. General Manager, Agency / Consultant at Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans-convention Center, responded to this review Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback about your stay at Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans-Convention Center. We're glad you enjoyed the spacious suite, well-equipped kitchen, and unique room features. It's wonderful to hear our complimentary breakfast met your expectations and that our team could accommodate your late checkout. We've noted your comments about in-room phone responsiveness and will review them with our team. We hope to welcome you back soon.
