Location

This hotel is located in the French Quarter, right in the heart of New Orleans, in one of the traditional inner courtyards of the quarter. It is just 1 block from the famous Bourbon Street and the important sightseeing attractions of the city are within walking distance.

Facility

The hotel has 171 rooms, including 11 suites and 126 single rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the view of the courtyard from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms.     Great Location in the French Quarter

    Location was great close to everything in the French Quarter. Our room was not ready when we arrived so we walked around the French Quarter and wait to hear from the hotel when the room was ready. Never received a call or text so we called the hotel found out they had the wrong number. The pool was great warm and clean we used it everyday we was there. The staff was very good except for last day we were there. We had to leave very early in the morning and no one was there except for security guard whom seem to be higher then a kite. Finally the front desk woman came back and checked us out and called a cab. All and all it was good experience and would recommend to other guest in the future.     Location, location, location! This hotel is located just one block off Bourbon Street and super close to all the action (including the trolleys)! Yet while so close to Bourbon Street it was amazingly quiet. Our room had a king bed plus lots of extra room. While the parties one street over are not noticeable, we did experience some street traffic noise early in the morning due to deliveries or garbage pick up. It did wake us up, but going back to sleep is no problem for us. If you’re concerned, request a room overlooking the courtyard pool. Definitely recommend this property if you’re looking to do touristy things in New Orleans.     Hotel in a good location in the French Quarter, a street away from Bourbon. On arrival my room was not ready, along with one other in my group but reception were apologetic. I did have to chase to find our what was happening as the receptionist had forgotten about us. This was quickly sorted and I was in my room. I was in a room on the 5th floor with a small window which was half covered by a blind which couldn’t be moved. This meant I had to keep the lights on or the room was very dim. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was a bit of a disaster. Myself and another guest ordered at the same time and waited an hour for food. Other guests left due to the delay. Some guests who ordered after us received their food first - and we had ordered off the menu… nothing complicated. Upon leaving I was able to leave my case in the hotel and when I came back a few hours later the valet knew my name which felt a very personal style of service, as he’d probably spoken to other guests that day.     When making our reservation, we were unaware of the practice of charging additional fees. We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights but were forced to pay an extra $166 for items we did not want. I consider this to be an abusive practice; furthermore, the bathroom door makes it difficult to access the room.     My wife and I booked a stay through Booking.com and later needed to adjust our check-in date. We notified Booking.com, and they confirmed that they had communicated the change directly to the hotel. Despite this, the hotel failed to update our reservation and ultimately canceled it when we did not arrive on the original check-in date.When we arrived to check in, we were informed that our reservation had been canceled, we were charged a no-show fee, and we were left with no option but to book a less desirable room at a higher rate. Not only was this frustrating, but it significantly impacted what was supposed to be a special trip for us.We explained the situation to the front desk staff and provided proof that Booking.com had notified the hotel of our updated arrival date. Unfortunately, our concerns were dismissed, and we were told there was nothing they could do. The front desk associate advised us that the General Manager, Salman, would be available the following day to discuss the matter.The next morning, I attempted to meet with Salman in person, but was told he was in a meeting until 10:00 AM. When I returned at that time, he still refused to come out and speak with me directly. Instead, we were forced to communicate through the front desk associate, who acted as a messenger between us. I was assured that Salman would call me by the end of the day to address the situation, but I never received that call.Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. Not only did the hotel mishandle our reservation, but no one seemed willing to take responsibility or make any effort to correct the situation. The lack of accountability, communication, and basic customer care turned what should have been an enjoyable stay into a frustrating and stressful experience.
