Great location, nice staff
05 Jun 2026
Great location, nice rooms and friendly helpful staff. Our room was clean but certain things needed a bit more attention. The skirting boards had obviously not been cleaned in quite some time the same with the sliding door to the bathroom, there was also something strange looking on the ceiling that I chose not to look at too closely. Rex Tiongson, Guest Services / Front Office at Hotel Le Marais, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed our location, found your room comfortable, and experienced friendly and helpful service from our team.We also appreciate you bringing the cleanliness concerns to our attention. While we're pleased your room was generally clean, the areas you mentioned should have received greater attention, and we apologize for falling short of our usual standards. If you would be willing, we would greatly appreciate it if you could contact me directly at 504-200-3114 or at fdlemarais@jcollectionhotels.com and provide your room number. This would allow us to investigate the issues you noted more thoroughly and ensure any necessary corrective action is taken.Your comments regarding the skirting boards, bathroom door, and ceiling will be reviewed by our housekeeping and maintenance teams once we are able to identify the room in question. We value your feedback as it helps us improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an even better stay in the future.Warm regards,Hotel le marais

Great place, quietly tucked in the business

Our stay could not have been better. Pierre at the front desk was very hospitable and sweet as pie. The hotel was quiet, clean and close to everything we were looking to do. I would say the only down side is not having a fridge in the room. Our cab driver, Teddy was great to speak with and very informative of the area and history. Nola and Le Marais have a special place in my northern heart.

For quiet when you want it, yet footsteps from the mayhem of Bourbon Street when that's what you want - you can't go wrong at Hotel le Marais! If you're fortunate, as I was, to be greeted upon arrival by the most accomodating and good-humored Pierre - then the tone for your entire stay shall have been set, and at a high bar. Be sure to seize the opportunity to chat up Collette about the little ones in her life as she's fixin' the coffee service. The coffee's very good; the conversation's apt to be even better!

Great location in the French Quarter.

The location was excellent. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants . Very close to Jackson square. You will learn to look down at your feet to avoid pot holes, etc. most street signs are literally ON the Sidewalk.Get an “upgraded room” if you can…Our room had 2 queen beds and a newly renovated walk in shower, also a tiny balcony with a view of the pool below. No refrigerator tho. Very clean, not noisy.
