143 rooms are located on 9 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing.     I was worried about the hotel based on some reviews, but im glad we stayed here.

    We had a really good stay here, I was really nervous because of the reviews I had read and almost backed out, but I am so glad I didn’t. We arrived early because we had to check out of our other hotel at 11 and the bell man took our suitcases and stored them for us and pointed us in the right direction to grab brunch on magazine Street. The lady working the front desk was so sweet. I had asked, if possible to be in a quieter room, she was more than happy to help us with that. She had mentioned the Wi-Fi might be spotty which I appreciated, but I still chose quiet over Wi-Fi reception since there was a two hour time difference between SF and New Orleans Orleans, we also had no issue with the Wi-Fi. The rooms were large and spacious in the shower was extremely hot and the water pressure was good. The pillows were a tiny bit soft, since I like firm pillows, but it didn’t ruin our sleep. This was within walking distance to so many beautiful homes, and there was a liquor store where we could buy water and sodas and alcohol and food right across the street. It got a little sketchy with the homeless late at night but we never felt unsafe. We would definitely come back again. The lobby and bar area were so unique and pretty, it was a vibe, we will have to get a drink down there next time.     Frustrating experience

    The stay at Hotel Tonnelle in New Orleans was very disappointing and frustrating. The room and the hotel property were nice, but that doesn't make up for the terrible service. When we arrived in the evening we asked valet and the front desk if valet was 24/7. We were told yes. We told valet that we will be leaving early in the morning for the airport and we needed our car at 2:00 am. The gentleman at the valet said that was no problem. He said he would pass along the information to the night valet. We booked a room for 4 people but everything was set up in the room for only 2 guest. We had to wait a while for someone to bring enough towels for all of us and bedding to make up the couch bed. We sent the message on our phone to valet at 2:00 am for our car. Valet never replied so we left the room with our luggage and went downstairs. The lady working at night was very nice. We told her we sent something to valet for our car but never heard anything. She radioed for valet multiple times and no response. She called a manager for valet, he showed up and was unable to get into the lock where the keys were kept. He tired for over 45 min to try and get into the lock with the keys. We did appreciate that. The lady working the front desk had the night security guard make 2 rounds on the property looking for the valet attendant. It was almost 3:00 am at this point. We had just called for an Uber to pick up our daughter at the hotel so she wouldn't miss her flight back to school. After one hour of waiting for valet to show up, he finally did. We didn't get up at 1:00am only to leave the hotel at 3:00 am because the night valet decided to walk away and not answer his walkie. No apology was ever given from the night valet. We almost missed our flights due to him disappearing. I do appreciate the efforts from the lady at the front desk, the valet manager and the security guard. I emailed the manager of the property explaining our frustrations. She replied back to my first email. I emailed her back again and nothing. She completely ignored my second email. I will never book with this hotel again. If you're thinking of using valet at this hotel, think again if you need your car early in the morning.     Good but not great stay

    Pros:- very friendly staff- decent breakfast menu (not included in rate)- located right next to a Hop on Hop Off bus tour stop and streetcar stop- walkable to restaurants and attractions - 20min drive from the airport - quiet area- fully updated and well decorated- we had a king standard room and it was big. Plenty of space.Cons:- WiFi was terrible- hotel bed sheets did not properly fit the bed.     Everything a little off

    From the time I got to this hotel, everything was a little off. I arrived around 6pm and the feel of the checking was like a Hampton Inn. The agent was nice but not the typical professionalism of a big chain. The most odd thing was she handed me a brown paper bag with two generic water bottles in it and said it was a thank you for my Marriott Bonvoy allegiance. Literally fifty cents of water. The room was spacious but again just a bit off. The toilet was set crooked (meaning not at a right angle to the wall). The sink faucet had handles installed backwards. The shower door’s water strip was coming off so door didn’t shut properly. The lighting in the room is poor at full strength but there was a bulb out in one of the three lamps. Also the deadbolt was broken which the person who brought me a new bulb confirmed. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and it’s pretty quiet. And location is good.
