This hotel lies along St. Charles Avenue in the historical Garden District of New Orleans. It is just a few minutes walk to the famous French Quarter, links to the transport network and a diversity of bars and cafés such as La Madeleine bakery.

Facility

The hotel has a lifts and features 130 rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     Hotel doesn’t look like hotel thats portrayed in website pictures.     Horrible Experience with Suite!

    I booked the executive suite at Maison St Charles to get ready for my wedding and my experience was horrible! I was placed in the wrong/smaller suite from what I booked, and stated this the night I checked in and was told nothing could be done until the next day. I was gaslit into believing I was in the correct suite already and it was blamed on booking.com. Later when checking online photos and description from booking.com and their website I saw this was inaccurate. Both stated there are two bathrooms for both and there wasn’t, and the suite I booked originally is no longer on their website, and it looks completely different on both website. Next day same response from the lobby and nothing was done. Two days later they stated the suite shouldn’t have been on booking.com and wasn’t available. A few hours later they wanted to place us in the other suite. So this shows me the room was avaliable!!! I am stuck in the middle as a customer and nothing is being done to financial compensate the room difference. We paid for a premium suite we are not staying in! My family and I tried to address my suite mix up with management multiple times and have yet to hear anything from the manager. Instead he is dodging and has his workers addressing this matter. Please be weary when trying to book there is no accountable and responsible for when mistakes are made! I understand mistakes happen but nothing is being done to fix it!     A bit disappointed

    When my son and I checked in after a long and early morning flight we wanted to take a brief rest before dinner.When my son pulled back the spread there was a large brown stain on the sheets. We asked for it to changed and they sent someone almost 3 hours later.I went to put the bath mat over it and it also had brown stains.The beds were comfortable but high and the small reading lamp was a few inches below the bed - so much for reading!On the second night we had to call security due to a large number of kids having a loud party in the courtyard below us at 3:30 am!In spite of leaving tips on both pillows every morning we returned after touring and one bed was made up the other had everything piled up on the chair!Also when I got in the shower the soap dispenser was totally empty and the bath mat had not been replaced.Overall very poor house keeping!The whole time that we were there a broken and damaged luggage cart was parked by the 3rd floor elevator.The room was otherwise clean but the property is "tired" and in need of a makeover.It was in a good location and Mr. Ed's restaurant next door was very good!When I returned home I called and spoke with the manager who seemed concerned but busy and he promised to call me back. It's been a week and he hasn't called back. I will not be staying here again.     We had a room block for a local wedding. It was a pleasure doing business with this establishment. All went well, beds were comfortable and it served its purpose as well as going above and beyond. It kept people out of the quarter and CBD during French Quarter fest weekend yet close enough if they wanted to attend. The garden district is beautiful and quieter than the other chaos.     We just got back from staying here and I would not recommend. We had 6 rooms booked amongst friends and majority of us had issues with check in, the room needing repairs, no a/c, etc. It is very old, the bathrooms aren’t in the best shape and the rails on the second floor are a hazard. Everything seems to be falling apart. The manager, Brett was terrible to deal with and gave us attitude the whole time. The receptionists’ were very polite, but unfortunately the manager ruined it for us.
