    DIRTY, OLD & COCKROACHES!DO NOT STAY HERE!The room was not well maintained at all. The floors, carpet and walls were very dirty, and we even found two cockroaches in the room.The bathroom was in even worse condition: the sink had hair in it and the bathtub was extremely dirty. Overall, the room felt old, poorly cleaned and neglected.

    When we first got to the hotel. It was not as nice as the photos on TripAdvisor. There is no hot tub at all. There was one but it is now filled in with concrete. The toilet in our room leaks and there is some standing water in the tub. This room was definitely not worth $136.00.

    Wonderful hotel and amazing restaurant

    I would like to begin with my experience with the staff, upon arriving at the hotel I was in a situation where I didn't plan to stay at a hotel so the lady at the front desk was so helpful and she went above and beyond to accommodate my needs because they were not normal circumstances. The staff here is wonderful everyone has worked with me and they make it so pleasurable. The hotel is very clean it's very quiet and the swimming pool is amazing. I would suggest anyone who would like to stay in a hotel in this area please check this hotel out in the funny thing is that I am a diamond member with Best Western which happens to be just down the street from this hotel and for the price you can't be staying here it's just as nice and a lot cheaper and again I just can't say that I've had anything less than a wonderful experience. They also have an amazing restaurant in the hotel called Cajun kitchen and I can tell you that the food is amazingly fresh and the atmosphere is wonderful. I was very surprised because a lot of hotel restaurants just aren't up to par but this one was amazing so please check it out and the owners were very welcoming.

    Best overlooked hotel near the city. On the water and quiet.

    Best bargain hotel in New Orleans. Very inexpensive compared to the city. Clean, cold AC room with a very comfortable mattress. Nice pool area with BBQ grills. Its in another county than New Orleans proper, although only 7 miles from the French Quarter. This apparently makes a huge difference in the crime rate and car break-ins. Set next to a bayou in the marsh, there is a nice little neighborhood next to the hotel.

    Best restaurant in lobby I have found in Louisiana

    Stayed a night. Everything was fine. Went to the little casino next store and my mother enjoyed herself. However walking back we smelled what my mom said smelled like heaven. The restaurant in the lobby is called Family Cajun Kitchen. I will tell you this place was spot on in every possible way. We got late checkout the next day just so we could eat there again. Fried pork chop and I had 2 different po boys. Delicious
