    Run...to a better hotel

    For starters it looks like a dump. The pool was under construction and there was construction early when I was still sleeping but it only gets worse. The only buttons on the remote that worked was power and up and down. There is no fridge, no microwave, the ice machine is broken. The walls are thin. The front desk is beyond rude but nothing is or was as bad as the manager. She thinks she can do or say whatever she wants like she's the queen of the city. Does she not realize she is just a manager at a shady hotel? Do not stay here. Its not safe or even nice. Stay anywhere else.

    Our stay was awful from start to finish. The first room’s toilet leaked every time it flushed, and when they moved us, the new room’s TV didn’t work. Every night we came back to flies in the room, and the AC unit dripped water onto the floor nonstop. Housekeeping ignored the “Do Not Disturb” sign, and when we needed towels or toilet paper, they never brought them. Expedia tried to help, but the hotel denied everything, even the room change. DO NOT STAY HERE. The rooms are disgusting, and they’ll lie to keep your money.

    Went to new orleans recently to see saints vs. My new york giants...stayed 6 nights as I browsed expedia to find affordable locations not far from french quarter did not want to be directly on bourbon street because new orleans can be expensive and did not want to drink binge the whole stay. Initially after reading reviews I thought I might have.made a mistake..but honestly the place was not bad for adults...I would say not child friendly..large room comfortable bed..excellent tv and cable...clean toilet shower and sink.just good enough to get good sleep when not touring the city..located in mid city which is 1 mile north of the quarter..you are 10 minute uber ride away from bourbon street...superdome...no pride in room ice.maker on 2fl...pool was operational..staff was friendly and courteous housekeeping daily upon request...it isn't the Marriott but for affordability and proximity to everything via short uber ride..and no bourbon street noise distraction during rest time..its a solid stay nowhere near as bad as some of the reviews..local spot old new orleans charm...good bang for buck..would stay again and next time my giants might win game.
