Great place! Parking is super convenient, the staff is very nice, and the accommodations are very good. It feels safe. Location is also good. Unfortunately this fell short in cleanliness for us to remain. Arrived, checked in n when entered room, which was very compact, immediately felt dusty. Immediately went for shower as been travelling long hours, but had to clean bath 1st as grimy and hairs from previous person. Immediately got dressed n packed back up. Fan above bed was throwing dust off n headboard was thick with dust. Floor was bare boards n a few slivers evident so couldnt be barefooted. Offered another room which was bigger but when pulled curtain back, a cloud of dust met me. No no no sir. Checked out. Supervisor we think it was, was helpful n no reflection on their role but unfortunately hotel fell short of expectations to which we are not snobs of any nature. My New Orleans Home Away From Home

My home away from home in New Orleans. I won't stay anywhere else. I love the funky mid century decor paired with the original hand-laid brick walls and wood floors. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. This is my favorite hotel in the CBD. Every detail is just well thought of. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are luxurious, even the water pressure is wonderful. I go here when I don't want to have to worry about a thing. There isn't a spa there but the Compere Lapin restaurant more than makes up for it. It's absolutely incredible. I would 10/10 recommend, and also, be sure to make a reservation as it's a popular spot in the city. Nina is a culinary genus. The plants, the design details, the service, the SMELLS even.. for an industrial, low maintenance girlie, it's a dream. great place - location was perfect and staff was friendly, very happy with all - shower pressure was strong, water was hot!
