    Good stay in Seaport

    rating24 May 2026

Great location if planning to explore seaport. There was some confusion about our room since we booked with third party. The room we had was apparently an upgraded room but was a pretty standard hotel room. The parking garage they recommend also requires validation for the rate the hotel lists online, so be sure to ask the parking garage for a receipt to bring to the hotel! Marney Jeter, General Manager at 33 Hotel, New York City, Seaport, responded to this review Hi Samantha,Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re happy to hear you enjoyed our Seaport location and had the opportunity to explore the area.We do apologize for the confusion regarding your room reservation and parking validation process. Your feedback is appreciated and helps us improve communication for future guests, especially those booking through third-party channels. We will also continue working with our parking partners to ensure instructions are as clear and seamless as possible. We truly appreciate your visit and hope to welcome you back again soon for an even better experience.Marney

Wonderful stay overall. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were spotless, and the location was incredibly convenient with a great view of the Brooklyn Bridge. What really stood out, though, was the staff — everyone was so courteous, friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality made the experience even better. Highly recommend! Horrible construction noise. Very loud and annoying HVAC.

    rating21 Apr 2026

Had a horrible stay and not given enough of a discount to make up for it.Major brick work was happening from 9a-5p, M-F which was extremely loud chiseling directly on the walls of our room. THEY ABSOLUTELY SHOULD HAVE CLOSED DURING THIS MAJOR CONSTRUCTION. At the very least, they should have warned their customers and offered to find us new accommodations and enticed us to stay with a 50% discount. They charged us 5-star prices and only discounted me $500 plus the resort fees, but didn't even give me the entire amount. They also promised to comp one of our breakfasts but didn't. I have chased them on these to no avail and am finally done.Pros:*Location is good if you don't mind a few blocks walk to a subway station. But South Street Seaport is quaint.*We had a spacious room with a soaking tub (but paid a lot extra for it and could not enjoy it during daytime hours).*Friendly staff members who felt bad for usCons:*Construction noise all day everyday*Priced too high. This is not a high-end hotel, but the owners seem to think it is.*A/C and Heat worked well but was so loud we could not stand it. Will not stay here again for that reason alone.*Closet door was broken and made it unusable. *No dressers to unpack into. A couple drawers in closet that didn't open.*No seal on shower door so bathroom flooded every time we used it.*Sink was clogged*Bed not that comfortable (too stiff)*Continental breakfast was supposed to include coffee, 2 muffins, 2 overnight oats and fruit. Each day they were out of either decaf coffee or muffins.*Service at breakfast was friendly but very slow.*Window curtains were off their hooks. Shows poor Quality Control at hotel.*Was told by one staff member that they charge exorbitant rates for balcony rooms on 4th of July even though they don't face the fireworks. BEWARE! Marney J, at 33 Hotel, New York City, Seaport, responded to this review Hi Faye,Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We sincerely apologize that your stay did not meet expectations and regret the frustrations you experienced during your visit. We understand how disruptive the construction noise must have been, and we apologize for the inconvenience this caused throughout your stay. We also regret the maintenance concerns you encountered within the room, including the closet door, shower seal, sink, curtains, and HVAC noise. Your comments have been shared with our Engineering and Operations teams for immediate review and follow-up.Additionally, we are sorry to hear about the inconsistencies with breakfast service and the concerns regarding the adjustments and follow-up communication you received. This is not the level of experience we aim to provide our guests. While we appreciate your kind words regarding our team members and location, we understand that this did not outweigh the overall experience you had with us. Your feedback is valuable and will be used as we continue working to improve both our accommodations and communication with guests during property projects.Thank you again for sharing your experience.Marney J

    Awesome attention to detail

    rating07 Apr 2026

This is our second year staying at this hotel. We are here for art expo New York - so this hotel is very close to the venue. We checked in yesterday and found they did not have the hot water pots in the room that they had last year. It was a huge surprise for us because we like to make tea and we really love having a hot water pot and not a coffee maker that gives you coffee flavored water. We went downstairs to see if they had any hot pots. The staff went to another property to get us a spot so that we had one!AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE Marney J, at 33 Hotel, New York City, Seaport, responded to this review Hi Susan,Thank you so much for choosing to stay with us again during Art Expo New York! We truly appreciate your continued support and are happy to hear our location continues to be convenient for your visit. We also appreciate you sharing your experience with our team. We understand how important the small comforts are when traveling, and we are so glad our staff was able to assist by locating a hot water pot for your room. Providing personalized service and going the extra step for our guests is something we strive for every day.Thank you again for your kind words and recognition of our team’s efforts. We look forward to welcoming you back again next year!Marney J

    Calm in Manhattan

    rating16 Mar 2026

Our stay at the 33 Hotel was perfect. It’s ideally located for exploring the Financial District, the 9/11 Memorial, Brooklyn and its famous bridge, as well as the neighborhoods of Chinatown, Little Italy, and SoHo. The subway is only a short walk away (about 7 minutes), making it very easy to get around and discover the rest of the city. The Seaport neighborhood is authentic and very pleasant, with plenty of restaurants and bars. Our room was spacious, very clean, and had a beautiful view of the Brooklyn Bridge. All the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We had brunch once at the hotel’s restaurant and it was delicious. I would truly recommend this hotel for staying in Manhattan while still enjoying a calm, “village-like” atmosphere, just steps away from a stunning view of Brooklyn.
