Location

The property is located on the Upper West Side, just 3 blocks from Central Park and away from the turbulence of Mid-town, yet still an easy commute away. The American Museum of Natural History and the Lincoln Center are in the area and there are fantastic shopping facilities and a myriad of dining choices in the vicinity. Times Square is a 20-minute walk from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 291 rooms and 225 suites. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Film lovers are sure to find just what they're looking for in the cinema's listings. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room, a playroom and a library. Rooms

    We had a great stay at Arthouse Hotel on the Upper West Side. The location is incredibly convenient—close to the subway, great restaurants, and just a short walk to Central Park, which made getting around the city really easy.The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made it a relaxing place to come back to after a busy day exploring. Overall, a solid choice if you’re looking for a well-located and reliable place to stay in NYC. Would definitely consider staying here again!

    A lovely hotel on the upper west side. During the chaos of the holiday season and mobs of people at Times Square it was so nice to come back to this hotel which is in a quieter neighborhood. Easy to get to and lots of good food and cocktail lounge options close by.

    I have stayed here many times in it's former incarnation as NYLO. I loved the various room configurations, balconies, location, and pet friendliness. Most is the same although I stayed in the most basic room category with two airshaft views. However, the room was blissfully quiet. The hotel did me a solid as I booked the wrong night and I was just so grateful to have a room! My only concerns- the room door looked like it didn't fit the frame and made me a little nervous. No Do Not Disturb sign. The only electrical outlet was for two items and there were two lamps, a coffee maker and the television, I really didn't love plugging and unplugging, for a hotel stay I expect things to work easily and to be able to relax fully. One elevator was down, and the hotel seemd generally crowded. The bar and cocktails were amazing and given the price point and amazing neighborhood I would stay again.     It was clean, good location near central park and metro, cvs, shops and cafes. Nice smart tv, service and comfortable large bed, was good view and I liked cafe on the first floor.What would be nice to improve is bath, it was with scratches and water pressure was poor. Also ac quite old and noisy a little.But I think it was a perfect base price & accommodation .
