    Great stay, simple, had everything I needed

    This was a great place to stay for a few nights. I had to be in New York for a business trip and though my office is in Manhattan, this was a much cheaper option, especially during the holidays. The train to Manhattan was easy as well. The room was small but clean and had everything I needed. The staff was kind and welcoming and I felt very safe as a solo female in this hotel. The neighborhood was lively, with lots of restaurants and young people out, and I felt safe walking around by myself. The breakfast was a pretty typical continental breakfast, with oatmeal, coffee and tea, bananas, and some pastries. Nothing special but enough food and good quality.

    Unplanned early departure

    Stayed at this property for one night ( had planned to stay for four). We got some news from home that made us cut our trip short. We had booked through Priceline (non-refundable rate) but the desk lady told us to reach out to Priceline and she would give us a refund for 2 days. The hotel is very clean and they have a wonderful breakfast !

    Stayed at the Asiatic for a visit to Citi Field

    Stayed The Asiatic one night while visiting Citi Field for a NY Mets game. We walked from the Asiatic hotel to Citi Field (20 minutes) and took the 7 line back. Still need to walk a few blocks from the Main Street rain station, but very short. The hotel was well run and our room was clean and quiet. The Asiatic is in a very busy area of Queens' China town. We did noy eat nearby, but there is an abundance of Asian food restaurants and stores. We parked at the Icon garage that the hotel recommended (very close). $30 for 18 hrs. Our car was treated well and the valets were quick and friendly.

    This hotel is about 3 blocks from the subway Train 7 and 1 stop to Willets for the U Open. The rooms are sparse, but has small fridge, hot pot, and microwave.Pros: locationComfortable bedNice towelsCons: Noisy street with trucks during the early morning hrs and planes from LaGuardiaStreet is dirty and smellyOnly Asian restaurants in the area.I would not stay here again.

    It was okay for a New York hotel the decor was stained and old the cabinet was broken there was mold in the bathroom they tried to make some type of Chinese fan on the bed it was dirty and big I did not like it . There were no washcloths in the room either . other than that it was okay
