    I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to share it. I booked this hotel for my parents, trusting they would be comfortable and well cared for. Unfortunately, that was not the case.The elevator was out of service for their entire stay, which was already inconvenient. Things became significantly worse when my parents were locked out of their room for an entire night. Despite repeatedly asking the staff to resolve the issue—especially because my mother has a medical condition and needed immediate access to her medication—the situation was not treated with the seriousness or urgency it required. The only response we received was that my parents had been given another room to sleep in, as if that excused the problem.The lack of empathy, professionalism, and concern was extremely disappointing. One staff member was even rude and shouting. This is not the level of care or service anyone should expect from a hotel.

    ⭐️ DO NOT STAY HERE ⭐️This place is not run properly anymore.• No elevators for elderly guests (my grandparents are almost 80)• Key scanner failed and locked them out of their room• All belongings + MEDICATION locked inside• My grandmother missed taking her medicine and couldn’t get ready for her doctor’s appointment — the entire reason she stays here• Management promised a day & a half credit → never given• Promised a better room → never happened• Put them back in the same broken room• Room smelled like mold• Broken closet doors that wouldn’t closeWe had to urgently find another hotel near 86th St & 7th Ave because of how poorly they were treated.They used to stay here often.     I have stayed at this hotel about a year ago and hd no problem but it has gone downhill. We had three rooms reserved and only one was available one hour after check in time. The first full day we returned to our room and found that there had been no service - dirty towels on the floor, trash in the baskets and unmade beds. We were set to check out the next morning and learned that they were going to shur down the elevators in the next five minutes without any prior notice. Why shut down the elevator during check out time? It was a hassle to get our bags down and I had a great deal of difficulty using a cane. The bathroom in the common area for guests was out of service. The breakfast was basically carbs - the yoghurt machine was broken. They put a pending charge of $200 each on my credit card for two of the rooms but only removed one of them so far.

    Friendly staff, this isn't my first time staying here. I really like the location, there are lots of great places to eat nearby, and it's close to the subway and bus stop.

    I arrived at this hotel, entered the room, and left immediately without unpacking or staying overnight.The conditions were unacceptable. The room was unsanitary, with dirt, trash, insects, and a strong, unpleasant odor. I documented everything with photos and videos taken immediately upon arrival.The environment also felt unsafe. There were intoxicated guests banging on walls, fighting, and shouting obscene language, making it impossible to feel secure or rest.These conditions do not match the description or standards presented in the listing. This was not a matter of preference but a serious health and safety issue.The hotel’s response was equally concerning. When I raised these issues, the front desk staff was dismissive and rude. I was told that if I did not like it, “no one was forcing me to stay.” I was also incorrectly informed that a refund was not possible because of Booking, which later proved to be untrue — the refund was declined directly by the hotel.Offering a room change does not address systemic problems related to hygiene, safety, and management.I strongly advise other travelers to avoid this property. The conditions and behavior I encountered raise serious concerns and, in my opinion, warrant inspection by health and safety authorities.
