The worst place I’ve ever stayed

    rating16 Dec 2024

There is nothing “grand” about this place nor is it a “hotel”. The place is filthy from the moment you open the front door, to the steps up to reception. The bathrooms are filthy, no toilet paper, no ceilings, damp and mould. Sound of things crawling from above. Very loud during the night from other rooms. Bed bugs, cockroaches etc. I couldn’t get out of here quick enough!!

    A terrible experience.

This was NOT a hotel room. This was a broom closet with a bed. I checked out a 3 am and couldn't wait to get out. How WOTIF/Expedia can charge $150 for this hole in the wall and sleep at night is beyond me. And they had the gall to write me that I grabbed a bargain ! It's a good thing I was 5'11" . If I were any taller I woulkd have had to sleep with my knees to my chest. The room was only as wide as the mattress.

    Worst "hotel" ever.

This place is not what they pretend to be. The hallway is a junkyard that has not been cleaned for a very long time, attracting various species of animals. Some insects can also be found in the so called rooms. The bathrooms are so dirty, don't think they were cleaned within the last year. The complete room and property information (on Expedia) are a lie.So we checked out immediately, telling the receptionist that this was not what we booked. The boy at the reception told us he will forward our complaint. But of course could not refund our money. One point is defintely too much for this ...

Budget-Friendly Stay: Not Perfect, But Worth the Savings!

    rating29 Sept 2024

I stayed at one of the most affordable hotels in NYC, and while it's not for everyone, I was prepared and had a decent experience. The shared bathrooms were a bit wet, but manageable, and with some extra comfort items like my own pillow and sheets, it felt like urban camping. Sure, some guests were loud at night, but for $80 a night when most places were $350+, it was worth the savings! Staff were very friendly.
