The well fitted, modern hotel is ideally located in the exclusive East Side of Manhattan right in the centre of New York. Restaurants, bars, pubs, public transport and shopping venues all lie within close proximity of the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 299 rooms and 8 suites, which are located on 20 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Hotel is fine, but their administration is either a complete mess or there is something more sinister going on. we and another couple handed over our credit card on arrival, and after we left and they took out the cost of our stay, they have hung onto $2000 without any explanation and have now stopped responding to emails. We have contacted the police. Dreadful customer service.     The service I received was sensational. Big ups to Adwoa for all her support and care throughout my stay. This was my first experience living at a Marriott hotel and she really made my experience very memorable.     First impression was great, the room looked fantastic. Unfortunately, an unfixable maitenance problem neccesitated a room swap late in the evening. Front desk insisted that no rooms are available. Fortunately, after speaking to a manager, the new room magically appeared. She definitely saved the stay. The buffet breakfast was surprisingly ok.     The location was excellent, across the street from a subway station. But the best was the wonderful and kind service provided by the front desk staff. Hats off to those ladies. I’m sorry I don’t remember their names, but they made our stay truly special. They gave us a warm welcome and even checked us in despite our early arrival. The room was large with a great view. Very clean room, with staff providing extra towels without us even asking. It was also quiet despite facing the street. Can’t speak about the amenities as I did not use them. But the few times I passed by the lounge, all was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and professional. Highly recommended. You won’t regret staying at this hotel. Great value for the cost with a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.
