  As a flight crew member, we consistently stay at the Courtyard in Edgewater and always enjoy our visits. The hotel feels clean, modern, and well-maintained. One of my favorite aspects is its convenient location within walking distance of numerous restaurants, shopping, and the scenic waterfront walking path.The only drawback is that there isn’t much else to do in the immediate area. It would be fantastic if there were a ferry within walking distance that provided easy access to New York City.Nanette is by far the standout employee at this property. Her hospitality, professionalism, and genuine kindness make our stay more enjoyable. She consistently goes above and beyond and represents the hotel exceptionally well. The front desk staff and even the bartender with piercings could learn a thing or two about hospitality from her example.Time will tell, see you next week!

  BEDBUGS! Stay at your own risk

  Very disappointing experience.Within 30 minutes of checking into my room, I found bedbugs in the bedding — clearly visible and documented on video and photos. I reported it immediately and left the hotel that same night, driving hours home rather than staying any longer.What’s most concerning is the response that followed. Despite being shown evidence at the front desk and having my own documentation, I was later told that a third-party inspection found no bedbugs or activity. That does not reflect what I experienced or what was documented in real time.I understand that issues can happen in hospitality. However, being told that nothing was found after a documented experience like this raises serious concerns about how situations like this are identified and addressed.For me, this goes beyond a single stay — it impacts my trust in how this property, and potentially others within the brand, handle issues that directly affect guest safety and peace of mind.Sharing so others can make an informed decision.   Had a reservation booked but due to an ice/snow storm, one where they were saying to stay off of the roads. i could not make it. Hotels.com said they understood and would give me a one time exemption due to mother nature, they called the hotel, the manager at the desk said no one, no expentions. Marriott wanted me to frive my family thru an ice storm, that is the time of busines they are. Never staying at a Marriott again.   Great hotel incredible location

  Great hotel in a beautiful neighborhood. Although the room you may get may not have views, you are steps away from gorgeous NYC skyline views and the whole community is on the water. Walk out of the hotel and you are steps away from Dunkin’ Donuts (on the water) or if you forgot something jump right into CVS. You would not believe this location. You can walk to dinner at some wonderful restaurants and then stroll on the waterfront and walk off your meal. The rooms were large and clean and modern. Linens were fine, towels were soft and the shower hot. What more can you ask for.The hotel caters to business travelers and couples who are in town for local weddings. During my stay it looked like quite a few weddings were in town. There was really no lobby life but that’s expected at a Courtyard. There is a cafe directly across the lobby you can grab a snack and coffee. There wasn’t much opened in the hotel itself. But that didn’t concern me because the options outside were so convenient. You can be in New York City in minutes by car since you have direct access to Lincoln tunnel or the New York waterway. This hotel is a no brainer if you have to be in the area just stay here. You can’t lose.
