This Jersey City hotel is conveniently located less than 4 miles from the Holland and Lincoln tunnels.     Not an honest hotel

    We called and asked if our room was ready possibly so we could drop off bags and then head to NYC. We were told that would be fine. But when we arrived he told us it would cost us $40--something not mentioned until arrival. I consider that dishonest. If the fee is $40 then that should have been shared when we called. Also, they have a take and go breakfast. That does not imply a good breakfast but it implies at least a pastry or donut. There was nothing but hot water and coffee. Again, this is not honest.     Avoid staying here at all costs. Money was taken from my account prior to checkin and was told if would go back to my account within the next days, and full amount was taken at check in. Worst customer service. Iron broken. Hallways smell crazy.     The Worst Hotel Experience I’ve Ever Had — Avoid at All Costs

    If I could give this place zero stars, I would. From the moment I arrived, everything felt wrong. The room was absolutely disgusting — it looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in weeks. Dust everywhere, stained sheets, and a bathroom that smelled like mildew and neglect. The photos online are completely misleading. What they don’t show are the dirty walls, questionable stains, and a general sense that no one here cares.The staff were shockingly unprofessional. Cold, dismissive, and at times downright rude. Any question or concern was met with eye rolls or complete indifference. It felt like they were doing me a favor just by speaking to me.The noise levels were insane. I could hear every conversation, every door slam, and every movement from surrounding rooms. It was impossible to get a decent night’s sleep.This place is a disgrace to the word “hospitality.” I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else.     The reservation was the total opposite of what we booked, when we got there. We were giving complete attitude, when we walked through the door. The WiFi did not work and the front desk, was no help and did not care. We booked for a king sized bed, Smoking room, and was given a double bed, non smoking. There was black mold in the bathroom, and mattresses stacked in the parking garage. I will never recommend anyone to this location.

    Staff were friendly. Bathroom spigot was very loose.Breakfast was SAD. Bagged orange juice, oatmeal cookie, and chocolate muffin which we do not eat.Was expecting Continental Breakfast as other hotels have. Eggs, toast, bagels, English muffins, yogurt , fruit etc that you could choose.
