    Have been to this hotel several times. it hits on all areas- clean rooms, good food, good gym and very friendly staff.     Although I don't live far away, I was attending a party that was ending late, and chose to stay over for one night. rather than drive home. My visit started well with Erin H. checking me in. Not only did she upgrade my room (I'm a Marriott Titanium member), but she was SO helpful and friendly. Every hotel should have a welcome desk person like Erin! She originally thought my room wasn't ready, and she told me she'd come find me to let me know as soon as it was available. (But it then was ready while we were speaking—so even better.) The next morning, I was having trouble using the free printers in the lobby (had to print out a short presentation for work), and she immediately offered to print it our for me. A+++ service! I've never been in a Delta before. The pantry with free soft drinks and snacks 24/7 for Marriott members (I don't know what level you need to be at) is a nice touch and an added bonus. I met with a friend for breakfast next day, and the lobby restaurant food was delicious. The room was spacious. I didn't hear noise from other rooms, and everyone I encountered (cleaning ladies, other front desk staff) were all pleasant. I even chatted with some of the guests who were also pleasant.The bed was comfortable too.     Peaceful and Welcoming

    Thirty minutes from Morristown and a wide array of Revolutionary War sites, the hotel is tucked away in a quiet location.The hotel and its rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable.There is also a small restaurant for breakfast and dinner, as well as a full bar.My girlfriend and I truly enjoyed a wonderful stay there and hope to revisit the property when we are back in the area. , General Manager at Delta Hotels Basking Ridge, responded to this review Thank you for this awesome review we would love to be your hosts once again when you return to our area once again!

    Great find a short drive from NYC

    This was a good, clran hotel. My wife said it was clean, so it had to be immaculate. We would difinitely stay here again. It was close to food and only about a 45 minute drive from Times Square. The entryway was welcoming with the check in counter nestled off to the left with a bar in the lobby.     Unpleasant stay at Delta Marriott, Basking Ridge

    Worse than Motel Six or any budget motel! The noise in the lobby on arrival was incredible .... a mob of yough cheerleaders and moms....plus the World Series on the bar TV. Management did nothing. The parents were actually aggressive when asked to keep the noise down with one father becoming physically dangerous. The hotel did nothing. If you want "normal" guests, getting noisy and rachous groups like this is not good. We've stayed at this place many times, now all in past tense. We were promised a gratuity or waiver but ended up paying the full tab.
