    Understandably a 2-star hotel. Service is 1 star to be honest. If you’re looking for budget not a bad place. Quality is very low

    A Pleasant Stay in NYC

    This hotel was great for 4 nights - it's perfectly located a 5 minute walk if that from Times Square and is surrounded by Subway stations. There's plenty of great food places nearby and is only a short walk from most Broadway theatres. We also went to concert at Madison Square Garden and only had a 10 minute walk there, if that. Couldn't recommend the location for the price you pay enough.The hotel itself is a little basic, it's small (including the lift which is slow and tiny) and our room didn't have a window which wasn't a nice vibe. However the AC worked, there was plenty of space and it was very clean. Housekeeping came in on almost all of the days and provided fresh towels and made up our bed. Check in was speedy, requiring a deposit of $100 which was refunded by 12pm the day we left. There was also a mini fridge with water bottles, coffee and tea making facilities and a lot of toiletries available, including a decent hairdryer. All in we found the stay to be pleasant and it made for a great base whilst exploring NYC. We would stay here again for shorter breaks!

    Was a bit in two minds about staying here. Reviews aren't great.But here is my experience. From the outside and all the scaffolding it does not look great and neither does the tiled floor and half tiled walls. Looks a little like a room in Amsterdam where you can get "Services". Of course I have only seen this form the outside in Amsterdam!Check-in was smooth. Went up to my room and the room does not match the the hotel. Bed was very comfy and good pillows. Good shower and nice bathroom.Overall the price I paid and the location. I would stay here again. You only sleep in the room so did not spend much time there. But I felt safe and would stay here again.

    This is the most basic 1-star hotel -- all walk-up, tile floors everywhere, and basic furnishings, but the staff is professional, efficient, and helpful. This was the least expensive hotel in NYC that night but, golly, for that much money it is a depressing state of room availability. OUCH. You don't get what you pay for regardless. But $350 is a LOT for this room.

    Location is central without having to be in the obnoxious times square hubbub.Check in was simple (and early) with friendly staff. My bathroom toilet had a minor issue and the maintenance woman quickly arrived and fixed it with a sense of humor. I was on the first floor and had no street noise at all. A/C unit worked well and was quiet. some scaffolding outside building so no curbside appeal - but its NY- where isnt there scaffold? Gyanna was reception member I had the most contact with and she was always helpful and friendly. My room was a single (queen) and felt like a cozy dorm room. Perfect for 1. Bathroom was clean and good water pressure and temps.
