  We loved our stay at Even in Midtown. The hotel is stylish and cool straight away, we were checked in quickly and given a high room with a street view which is such a plus when visiting NYC.The staff are so friendly, helping me with every little thing with endless patience and ease.Random plusses for me: Yummy breakfast and good coffee! The bar terrace with a street view. Handy location for midtown, Central Park, grand central etc.The room had an iron and ironing board which I really appreciated. Super comfy beds.The shower was amazing and a good hair dryer. A fridge in the room, cool LED lights and huge TV. Good WiFi throughout and a day pass on Citi Bikes included.Will be back for sure and recommend!   Great service made this an even greater NYC trip

  My son (18) and I arrived into NYC for a senior trip and Yan was incredible in helping us get settled. They coat checked our luggage and we went out to enjoy the city all day. Yan recommended a great bagel shop 'Bagel Market' and then suggested the Staton Island Ferry and more. It was awesome. Brilliant service and it really helped make our stay that much better! 5 Stars!   This served as a good enough base for us during our trip.Pros- location is great, close to grand central, Times Square, fifth ave etc. stores, coffee places and restaurants all nearby. Room is decent enough in terms of size and amenities, we were 2 girls and we had plenty of space to store our clothes, make up, etc. bathroom is great too. Cons- customer service at the front desk is basically non existent, I dont think I saw any of them smile once during my 5 night stay! There is no warm welcome or pleasant goodbye or even much eye contact or warmth when dealing with them. It’s as if you are an inconvenience. Housekeeping also left a lot to be desired, on our 2nd night I spilled some soda on the bed and this wasn’t changed until 3 nights later. Bed wasn’t made most days and we only got towels and loo roll every couple days it would seem. A very basic service which isn’t what you want when you are coming home tired from a day in the city. I was also under the impression you got a welcome drink, we didn’t get anything and when queried we were told this was only for members which seems contrary to what I’ve read elsewhere.Overall a good base for exploring NYC that is in a good location and reasonably priced but a few small changes would make a huge difference to the experience.   Excellent base for your New York stay. Nice gym.

  We made a really good choice staying here. The location is great, within walking distance of most of mid-town, Times Square, etc. Plenty of shops and eateries within a couple of minutes walk. Everything was modern and clean with a nice sitting area in the lobby/restaurant area. Our room was great – clean, modern, and comfortable with good views over the city (we were on the 27th floor). We loved the health/fitness aspect of this hotel, including the gym which we used on several occasions. It is small but fairly well-equipped, with a good collection of high quality cardio machines, as well as a couple of cable based multi-gyms, complete set of dumbbells, and a few other odds & ends. We didn’t eat any meals there, instead opting for nearby hole-in-the-wall eateries/cafes. Wifi, smart TV, AC all worked well. Overall no major complaints and would definitely recommend it to other travelers.   Good stay but lacked customer service

  This was a great location right next to Grand Central Station. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Times Square was a 10-15 minute walk. I would most definitely stay nearby should I come here againThe bed was comfy and the bathroom was spacious.
