    Reading reviews from 2024 and one of the two elevators still out of order. Had to ride the only elevator twice with staff members pushing a loaded garbage cart. Imagine riding a slow elevator with an enormous cart filled with rotting garbage. The only dining options here are to order out. There is nothing anywhere nearby. Uber won't do a pickup here to take you to a restaurant. The front desk hands out a flyer for a Chinese restaurant that has a two-star rating on Yelp. Clearly the food is disgusting, but they must have an agreement with this franchise hotel to skim a little off the top if they'll send business their way. I have to compliment the airport shuttle. It was on time, spot on the minute, going in both directions. It departs the airport on the 15 minutes and the hotel on the 30. It did both of them on time. Bait and switch. The ad says they have a pool, the Marriott booking site says they have a pool, but there's no pool here. Front desk staff were reasonably friendly.     New Jersey stay forgettable

    Excellent location silent area close to freeway yet silent, room size adequate , clean, had basic toiletries , breakfast was standard , GYM ,pool ,guest laundry all standard .The Air-conditioner/heater unit and intercom did not work , they repaired the heater unit again failed at the middle of night, staff quiet insensitive to respond about complaints and queries.     Great choice off NJ Turnpike by EWR

    What a pleasant surprise! I booked this property same day just because I needed to break up a road trip and I figured this airport property just off the highway would be convenient. It was! It's also clean and neat. My room was comfortable and well laid out. AC unit functioned without excessive noise and allowed for a continuous fan. Breakfast was a solid mix of the usual Fairfield fare. All in all very happy!     A good option for budget hotel near EWR but cold shower

    What I liked:* well cleaned room, lobby, and public areas.* plenty of parking.* their shuttle services runs every 30 minutes, they provided good accurate info on where to wait at EWR. * Good breakfast* Quiet on the top floor* This hotel consistently priced at a lower nightly rate compared to its neighbors nearby, and it's modern, recently renovated. What I disliked:* First night, the mattress was uneven, slightly tilted, so they changed the room. The second room they moved me, the beds also had similar issues. Either their mattresses are due to change or I was just unlucky to get two rooms that had bad mattresses. * the location is near EWR but some GPS can take you circling around the area in loops before you actually get to the hotel.* they charged for parking, like most hotels near EWR.* Inconsistent hot shower temperature: Of three nights I stayed, the first night was warm, barely acceptable, but it went downhill on * Day 2 and Day 3, even letting the hot water run longer, pretty much cold shower. As a result, I got sick.* Staff has different job knowledge and understanding on common information. For example, Jordan said the manager will not be in the office until 9am on Monday, 8/25, Liz and Evelyn, said otherwise, saying the manager won't be in until 10am on Monday, 8/25. This should be a common job knowledge that should have consistent answer, similar to what's your opening hour/time? Even this, they have inconsistent answer.Other things to know:* The AC blowing direction is un-adjustable which blows towards the bed, either one bed or double bedroom are the same. This is another reason I got sick after staying there even though I turned the AC off completely after Day 1. * Some staff appeared to be more professional than others, Evelyn was eating a banana while processing my check-out. They sometimes have communication disconnects and poor hand-over when changing shifts. You sort of have to micromanage, which I dislike. I personally would not stay there, mainly due to cold shower, but if you do not mind issues stated above, it's a good option, especially if you need to stay near EWR and needs the free airport shuttle.
