    Hotel and rooms are on the older side. Very much city and nowhere to walk.     I'm a Bonvoy Platinum member and stay at all the Marriott brands: Fairfield Inn, Courtyard, Ritz, le Meridien ... all of them. And that's because there is a consistency to the Bonvoy brand - you can count on a friendly, honest, clean, safe bed. I didn't find that here. Marriott should withdraw from agreement for this property to carry the Fairfield Inn flag. It is below par - feels like a cheap and grungy motel.1) hallways dank, dark and there were multiple instances of trash in the long hallway to my room.2) carpets are threadbare and need replacing.3) I'm a single woman, accustomed to much business travel, and rarely feel unsafe. I felt unsafe here. Environment is dark, industrial, and I was assigned an odd room - the only one in its area at the end of a corridor around a corner and adjacent to my door was a door to staircase. I once saw a crime scene show where a woman was eased and murdered in a similar isolated area of a hotel - wondered if the late night check in clerk chose that room for me.4) on checkout, very unfriendly, grumpy front desk clerk. Asked if I could use gym for 20 minutes before my departure (I'd checked out). All Bonvoy hotels let you stay on premises, store bags, use gym, etc after checkout. They told me I could not as "it's a liability thing." As I know a lot about insurance law, and pushed back saying that their liability policy covers guests on their checkout day through 11:59 pm. They reluctantly said OK. There was a reason this hotel was so cheap. Don't stay here.     The good- fairly clean, fair rate, breakfast spread was acceptable. The bad- poor room lighting, iron didn't work, no shampoo or body wash in dispenser, no blow dryer. Facility is outdated and needs a refresh. Summation- you can do better. I won't be coming back.     Worst hotel and management

    Worst run hotel i have been too. Construction everywhere. Noise all night. I had a confrontational with a group of kids and parents banging on my room door and running up and down the hall. 6 of them knocked on my door and would let me close it. Intimidating me. Another guy yelled to me to shut up. They wanted to scare me. The hotel agent couldn't do much and marriott did nothing. I should have called the police. This place is a mess and should be condemned..other guests say the same. I had to change rooms twice due to construction.
