  The staff at this hotel was wonderful! Breakfast was really good. Many options. The room was small but it worked fine for a weekend. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Easy walk to Wall Street or Fulton Street train station.   Very disappointing experience regarding billing and customer service handling. I do not recommend this hotel.

  First of all, the staff service was excellent, including housekeeping, front desk, and kitchen staff. Everyone was very kind and professional.However, my experience with billing was terrible. I booked a King bed room for 2 people for 4 nights, from May 21, 2026 to May 25, 2026. Over the phone, I was told that the total would be only $897.58 and that I would pay it at checkout. I was also told that during check-in they would only charge me $20 temporarily, which would later be refunded at checkout when the final payment of $897.58 was processed.This was completely false. At check-in, they charged me $977.58, which included the $897.58 plus an additional $80 ($20 per day). Then, on the day of checkout, they charged my card again without my permission. I never authorized them to store or reuse my card information. The card was only used to tap at the register during check-in for the $80 charge.When I went to the front desk to ask about it, they told me the system was undergoing changes and asked me to wait until Wednesday, May 27, 2026, to email the company so they could refund my $160. Today is Wednesday, May 27, 2026, and I still have not received my money back.Before going to the front desk, I also tried calling multiple times, but the calls kept disconnecting because of the same “system changes.”Very disappointing experience regarding billing and customer service handling.   Good location 10 walk to subway , room small but did the job , staff friendly breakfast basic - we only went 1 of 3 mornings . Lots of places around to grab food . Only negative is I am still waiting in the security hold to come back , it’s been almost 3 weeks and still not released - it’s not my bank either as I have checked .   Fairfield Inn New York Manhattan/Financial District - Great Staff, Good Value for Seaport/FiDi

  I have had mixed feelings about this property over the years. Upside: Very convenient location and good value for both work and play in Seaport/FiDi with the bonus of a complimentary buffet breakfast. (Unlike the adjacent AC Hotel which, sadly, no longer comps breakfast at any Bonvoy tier). Downside: Particularly small rooms and periodically indifferent guest relations. However, my recent stay was a total success thanks to the genuinely warm welcome by Yanesh and his extraordinary willingness and effort to assist throughout my visit. So, shout out to YANESH! Thank you, Yanesh!Of note: the remodeled dining area has hugely improved the look and feel of the space. However, the new seating layout can cause somewhat cramped dining conditions during the busy period. Breakfast service staff continue to be very kind and accommodating.

  Stayed at Fairfield Inn Financial District in New York City recently. Overall, it was an average experience.The location is convenient for downtown access, and the staff was generally helpful. The room was clean, but on the smaller side, which is expected for the area. Amenities were decent, though nothing particularly stood out, and the breakfast area can get crowded during peak times.Good for a short stay if you need something simple and well-located, but there’s room for improvement in overall comfort and experience.
