This holiday village is located in the heart of New York City.

Facility

The holiday village has a lift and features 150 rooms. Multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services include a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine.

    Hotel with no real lobby

    The hotel had no lobby. The entrance was a small room where the front desk was at left and 2 sofas at right side. Therefore, when you entered the hotel you basically had no choice but to go to your room. Hotel was located at a business district so while it may be good for those who are traveling on business, it was not ideal for tourists like us that wanted to avoid crowds on time square meanwhile wanted easy access to nice restaurants and coffee shops and sightseeing. The hotel had coffee at the small room at front until 11:00 am and since most coffee shops closed after business hours, one had to go around to get a cup of coffee. The room was small but the house keeping staff did a very good job keeping it clean. In regard to the lobby size it does reflect the hotel size. Most hotels in this are are smaller boutique style hotels with small lobbies. Apologies it was not suitable for you. I am surprised to hear about your opinion of the neighborhood. Soho is a real NYC walking neighborhood full of amazing shopping, restaurants, and coffee shops that stay open late just steps away. Some of the best known restaurants in NYC are a very short walk from the hotel. There are tons of amazing restaurants and shop within a half mile radius of the hotel. I would recommend speaking to the front desk about the area next time and we can give you loads of information and even a restaurant list that we have for guests. We love to help in that way.     Very quiet but cold during winter

    We stayed here for a week of a party of six with three rooms. The rooms were big enough, and it was very clean. Unfortunately, the windows are very old and I catched a cold because of the wind that came through (even tought I closed both blibds). Also, sometimes towels were missing and the free water wasn’t filled up, which in my opinion should work since the cleaning ladies do this every single day point Jim was also great and it helped a lot to have an ice machine and a vending machine for emergency point staff at the reception was very polite would recommend his hotel, but not during winter season because of the old Windows. also, the furnace wasn’t very ecological because we typed in how hot or cold we wanted the room to be and when it should stay steady, the heat was on for five minutes and afterwards the AC went off to keep it steady in my opinion, the AC shouldn’t work when there’s a snowstorm outside.     Dirty and expensive. Terrible combination!

    The room was dirty. There were random pills on the floor and that was gross as hell. I booked it at 12pm the day that I was going to stay there and it was still almost $560! Luckily checked in at 10pm and left at 7am the next morning.     Great location. That is where the praise ends. Dark, dirty room. TV was sideways, sound was inconsistent out of it. The carpet in the room needs to be replaced as there are sketchy spots on it. Thinnest towels I have seen at a hotel. Not friendly morning staff, evening staff were more pleasant. Do not recommend anyone stay here.     My daughter and I used to stay here years ago and gave it a go last weekend and it was lovely! We took the train into nyc the cab ride was only 15 dollars to get there. We were greeted by a super nice women at the front desk. And our room yes small but all we were doing was sleeping my feeling is who cares if it’s small we are just sleeping there. There are a number of truly positive items about staying here is location and expense. We were walking distance to soho, east and west village, soho, tribeca and Chelsea. The area is quiet unlike the mess in Times Square but there is a subway stop just across the street if you want to go to upper NYC so easily.
