    Perfect for jersey gardens mall shopping stay!

    Perfect comfortable hotel ideally located at the airport. A few mins walk from Jersey Garden Outlets. Room was comfortable for 4. Breakfast was as we expected for the price. Great value stay.

    TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE

    We were on the 2nd floor with a balcony area overlooking the community area right outside our door. We stayed three nights and every single night it was so loud until 11pm. We were told noise would end by 10pm, but it didn’t. Our last night was unbelievable! All kinds of adults sitting in that area drinking and very loud, kids running around yelling with no adult supervision, and dogs barking. When we complained a very young girl at the desk just said, “I’m sorry.” We just wanted to relax and settle in and that was impossible. I posted a picture because it wouldn’t allow me to post the video. Unfortunately the picture does not capture just how loud and chaotic it was. DON’T STAY AT THE LINDEN NJ HAMPTON INN!!!

    Stayed here in part due to the EWR airport shuttle. My friends arrived earlier with shuttle and had no problem. I waited 1.5 hours, after a 14 hour trip, for a shuttle that never ever arrived. Call after call after call to the hotel went unanswered. Finally my friends who were at the hotel went down to the desk to ask about the shuttle where the answer was “don’t know”.I ended up taking another hotel chain’s shuttle bus, then walked with my bags to the Hampton. When I arrived at the hotel, the shuttle bus was parked and unused.While things happen, a simple communication with the guest would solve unnecessary issues like this. If the shuttle is broken, you have the ability to advise your reserved guests of the possibility there will not be a shuttle.The lack of a shuttle, complicated with the inability of the property to answer the telephone, the “don’t care” attitude, and the annoyance of not being able to chat with a live person - versus an endless loop of the same questions from AI, was needless to say a very poor first impression.The room itself was Ok, it was pretty quiet for an airport-area hotel. The bartender was great and friendly.I spent decades owning 2 franchised hotels, so I appreciate the difficulty of the business, but indifference and lack of communication aren’t acceptable. If I had known the shuttle was broken, or the driver was MIA, or whatever, I could have simply made other arrangements. All this for $300-ish. There are several other hotels in the immediate area which might serve you better. I really appreciate the Marriott driver that volunteered to take me to their nearby hotel from where I walked to the Hampton.Dining choices are somewhat limited without a vehicle: there is a surprisingly good Ruby Tuesday as well as IHOP almost next door. There is also an outlet mall which can be walked to not as conveniently but doable

    VJ, the hotel manager, is very compassionate and understanding! He was wonderful to work with during a very emotional and difficult time dealing with the death of a very close relative. I look forward to staying at this hotel during happier times next.

    WORST PLACE TO STAY IN!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

    By far the worst hotel you can stay in very unprofessional customer service the front desk lady was giving attitude when we were checking in and didn’t inform the house keeping person that we already check in so they came in open the door without knocking good thing I wasn’t butt-ass naked or it would have been a disaster the property should fire some people there cause its just a complete mess. And the audacity to have a sign in the entrance that says,”Making you happy makes us happy” is a F*CKING JOKE if i can put a 0 i would cause this property deserves it
